WiFi frequently dropped and was not strong at all. Shower curtain was at an awkward enclosure so that a lot of things got wet.

Bargain room for a stay in Kalabaka

Appartment is nothing exclusive, you get what you pay for. It's located in the city center, so you have plenty of shops, fast food etc. What's important - it's clean, it has everything you need (decent beds, clean bathroom, free A/C, balcony with view on monasteries, kettle, bottles of water, fridge, clean sheets etc.) including streets where you can normally park, without paying (host will guide you where you can park) The host is really polite and will provide you with all the important info. His granpa Giorgis has antique shop just below the room. The last day, on our check - out, granpa Giorgis gave us cookies tied in a tiny napkin...❤️

The place is in the heart of Kalambaka, the aircon works great, big enough for a couple, it is exactly how it looks in the photos, very good. They also can storage your baggage after check out. Would come back 100%

Basic cheap accommodations in town

This is a very basic property that has everything a travelling needs… Comfy bed, fridge, full bathroom with hot water, excellent Wi-Fi. The property is self check in but the owner‘s father runs a little shop underneath the property and he is the kindest sweetest man. He speaks no English but does his best to help out. The location is excellent as it is close to town and the room was very clean.

I had no problems with this property, and would recommend it to anyone who is travelling on a budget and does not wish to stay in a hostel. There are no bells and whistles or luxuries here, it is truly a basic place to lay one’s head.

Change the shower curtain

Giorgios was very friendly and helpful.

The conditions do not match the price. The shower curtain is ridiculous because it is useless. What is worst is that it can be fixed with no hassle. The tea cups were not clean although they were inside a plastic bag as if they had been cleaned. Although it is Winter time, the bed wasn't made. The pillows are too hard. For a little more money you can have far better accomodations.

Away a bit from the tourist hubbub but on the way to walk up to the Holy Trinity Monastery. Spacious room and balcony has a wonderful view of the street and the Meteora

Small and cozy with beautiful balcony and lovely owners

We really enjoyed our time here, and it was much nicer than we were expecting! Comfy bed, hot shower, and our favorite was the balcony and, of course, the owner and his charming shop right below the room. Very kind people who hosted us (and thank you for the treats)! Definitely recommend staying here for a budget stay, we were quite happy

The TV was very modern and well equipped with a lot of different options such as YouTube and Netflix to choose from. There was a lovely home-style restaurant right next door, and it was only about a 10 minute walk from the train station and to the nearest hiking trail. And although not advertised, we could see parts of the mountains from our balcony, which was a nice surprise.

The air conditioning had a few problems, and didn't work as well as we'd hoped.

We liked the staff. Awesome was that we could leave our baggage in the shop beneath the room that is owned by owners father for a whole day after our stay ended. The room was clean and there was even a fridge. It was also very cheap.

There was a market throughout the whole street in the morning so it was quite noisy.

Very loud street, we could hardly sleep. Bed is comfy but too small for two people, although this was a problem for us in all accommodations in Greece. Toilet seat was broken and unusable.

Comfy place close to everything you need for a short Meteora adventure

The property is well-located, about a 5-10 minute walk from the hiking trail to Holy Trinity Monastery. It is also a 2 minute walk away from some good restaurants and grocery stores, and 5 minutes away from fast food (gyros/pizza) if you are so inclined. There are also some cheap laundry services in town about 5 minutes walk away. Check-in online was very helpful, and the gentleman in the shop below (the owner's grandpa) was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke English, French, and Greek - he will let you store bags in his shop pre/post checking, if you need. Make sure you get him a biscuit, I think he likes biscuits! Facilities are basic, but for the price point and for my needs (hiking Meteora solo for 2 days) everything was perfectly fine.

My only concern was the outside noise at night - the property is next to a restaurant, so it can sometimes get a bit noisy until about 11-12 o'clock at night.

Everything was good comparing with the price. Outside there was a little of noise but we slept the same (and the fault if someone else outside the building is making noise, is not of the owner). Artemis was very nice. I really appreciated all the informations and advice.
