Guesthouse Sagrila

Anna, Maia and Zura were extremely kind and welcoming to me. Their warmth was a highlight of my stay. The area is SO beautiful. The view from the sheltered table on the balcony where I was having breakfast each morning is stunning!! As soon as one gets out, one is greeted by chickens, horses, calfs, walking the streets. It is just magical. The property itself is surrounded by a beautiful vegetable garden. My room was very spacious and my bed very comfortable. I fell in love with Omalo (stayed 12 days), and loved coming back to my room each evening

I came at a time of year when the weather can get quite cold in the evening with big differences between daytime and night time temperatures. There were one or two night when I felt cold. After that I made sure to prepare a hot water bottle before going to sleep, and from then on all was perfect. I would recommend you pack one in your bag if you are travelling to Omalo in mid September. The temperature in the shower depends on how much exposure to sun the solar panels have had so it is not always very hot. It wasn't a problem for me, but could be for some people.

Breakfast was good except for the many flies that were on the food. Dinner was very good. Basic room was clean and had private bathroom. There were 3 rooms in small building behind the family''s main house. Mother was kind. And, of course, Omalo is beautiful.

Lock on my room door was broken, when I asked for a key, so unable to secure my possessions. No soundproofing even though listing shows it. Told by son who speaks English by phone or text that he would find transport for me upon departure. Never happened. No English spoken on site. Although a balcony is advertised and mountain view, there was no view from the room and tarps were hung around the balcony. Some days there was no way to see out, totally shut in with tarps completely or substantially even when days were sunny. Very disappointing.

Jednoduché, ale čisté a pohodlné ubytování. Vše bez problémů. Milí majitelé, domácí kuchyně. Měli jsme snídaně i večeře. Vše velmi dobré a skoro vše z domácích zdrojů. Prostě to nemělo chybu. Snídaně 25 lari, večeře 30 lari. Autentické a dobré.
