L’accueil, la tranquillité de la résidence

The hosts were lovely, their dog Ofelia was gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful and it is very peaceful. We appreciated the welcome apple juice, cold waters, cake and coffee, and they even lent us their bikes so we could cycle to the village bakery every morning. Air con was fantastic in the hot weather as the flat did get warm in late July. Fab little bar in the village called Le Herisson selling Flammekeuchen in the evenings. We enjoyed cycling to La Cochinelle at Artzenheim, two days in the vosges mountains, exploring various little towns like Ribeauville and even the cable car at Schausinland near Freiburg. We used the washing machine which was a bonus before we moved to our next stop. There is no stand up shower as the shape of the roof made this not possible but we enjoyed baths instead. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day to do some of the vineyards and more of the cycle paths.

The air con was a bit noisy at night just in the main bedroom, so a fan would be good for once the room has cooled down.

Un lugar muy tranquilo en plena campiña alsaciana, ideal para desconectar y descansar. La casa rural es acogedora, espaciosa y está rodeada de naturaleza y campos, con un ambiente muy relajante. Perfecta como base para descubrir los pueblos de Alsacia y disfrutar de unos días de calma. La atención fue muy amable y el entorno transmite mucha paz.
