La Maisonnette à Colombages - 20 min Europapark - Centre Alsace

L’emplacement calme et à proximité d’Europapark, appartement chaleureux fonctionnel, et surtout excellent rapport qualité/prix!! Avec en plus un cadeau de bienvenue !

A very nice apartment on the 1st floor of a country side house. The size of the apartment is quite comfy and very well equipped to make the stay pleasant enough. Also the whole apartment, the bed linen and the towels were very clean. There is also a rather big yard to park one (or even two cars)

Although the kitchen is equipped with almost every cooking tool, some basics like salt & pepper were missing. It would have been quite nice to have them available and make basic cooking more efficient. Unfortunately in Elsenheim there is not a bakery or grocery anymore, but in 5min driving to Marckolsheim, you will find nice ones! A point that could have been much better is the communication with the property owner. We received two automated messages only. We asked for clarifications on the arrival instructions (based on the original input) one day in advance, but we received the answer after arriving and been already in the apartment. And finally although it was clearly mentioned that there was free wifi, we never managed to get the wifi name and password. And our question through Booking.com messaging was NEVER answered... (by the way the mobile network reception is quite poor, so it is extremely hard to get any internet access).

The property was easy to find in a small village in the countryside. Beautiful scenery with hills in the distance. Two good sized separate bedrooms with a larger living space with areas for kitchen, dining and sofa. Apartment is on 1st floor upstairs in the roof space so has sloped walls throughout - bear in mind if tall. Nicely equipped kitchen with everything we needed to make a few meals. Well decorated throughout with some lovely character and finishing touches. Thank you for the wine! Local bakery 5 mins away in next village - supermarket and regular fast food outlets 15 mins away. We stayed whilst visiting Europa Park and this was easy to get to - but was a bit longer than the 20 mins mentioned (about 30-35 min). Visit Colmar the next day which was also very easy to get to from the property.
