We came back to the house after a day out and our bedroom door was wide open but we definitely shut it before leaving messages the owners and we had no response after this unfortunately it put us off.

Parking issues

The bed was comfy and the shower itself as very good water pressure

The add stated there was free on street parking,as it happens I got a £70 parking ticket,I booked for 2 night's but I only stayed for 1 as I wasn't prepared to get another £70 parking fine,I did look around each end of the street and it doesn't say anything about no parking. I would like the people of the rooms they let to state the truth about the parking so no one else gets caught out,l Didn't use anything else only the shower I was so angry.i wish I had taken photos.

Hidden gem

Was a lovely quiet area near to shops, was basically a shared house. The other guests were lovely and if WiFi working in the little room it would of been even sweeter. I slept great, and even had a takeaway delivered 😂

Was a bit of a mission to the city and back, there are some calf breaking hills to get to it.. I can't really say I disliked anything, shower was lovely, kitchen and whole gaff was great

Very quiet and peaceful. Helpful locals, easy access on buses to city centre. Excellent value for money. Coop shop and bus stop nearby.

Large, spacious room with comfortable double bed. Great value for £25 per night. Nice kitchen and eating area. I also loved the location of the house well away from the city centre, lots of grass and woodland but still straightforward access to the centre by bus. Co-op store, chip shop and other shops nearby. Large back garden and a seating area in the front of the house also.

the fact that there was a mix up with my room, which meant the room and bedding where used and not cleaned before my stay which ruined things. Landlady didn't even offer me a discount or a free night to go some way to make up for their mistake.

THE ACCOMODATION WAS AS PER THE DESCRITION

Room allocated was already occupied. Luckily another room was available. Room doors are not lockable with a key as descibed but have a coded lock attached. NO CODE GIVEN FOR THIS LOCK so unable to secure the room!

A disappointing stay.

Sorry but there was no redeeming qualities The accommodation was cheap. However the trade off is; YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!

There was no running water in the bathroom so could not take a shower. Had to leave early to take a shower at work Toilet is downstairs and stuck under the stairs in a cubby hole barely fitting one person. I refused to use the kitchen to prepare a meal due to concerns of it being unsanitary The kitchen sink was being used by others for personal hygiene purposes due to the bathroom being out of function. The bedroom furniture is old and scuffed Well in need of fresh modern units Bed is uncomfortable, no bed head. Bed linen appears clean but actual Duvet, mattress and pillow smells foul. Bedroom walls could do well with a lick of paint

didn’t receive the info for the key box before hand and the host didn’t answer my calls when I arrived. was lucky that another guest was present to at least let me into the place, otherwise I’d had to wait 45 minutes before I received a reply on my email for the keys. Felt the springs of the mattress in the bed also, not really comfortable.

There is no TV in the front room or bedrooms to relax with, I stayed in single room and the mattress is very uncomfortable, springs coming through. Not some where I'd chose to stay again with out some upgrades.

The area was very peaceful, bed was comfortable and overall was a lovely place to relax.

The WiFi didn't always work, it mainly worked later on at night.
