Nice comfy room, clean and well organised. Even though the room was eight by the entrance we didn’t have any issues with noise.

Slightly outdated the bedding was clean and fresh smelling but some stains on it probably due an update.

A neat balance between the privacy of your room & the opportunity to chat in shared facilities.

We had let the landlady know we would be unable to receive emails or WhatsApp prior to arrival, so she texted the check-in information. We were near the shared kitchen, which was adequately stocked with kitchen items and had clearly labelled arrangements for people to store their food. There were supplies of coffee, tea, sugar, and some milk in the room, with top-ups of coffee, tea, and sugar in the kitchen. There was a table in our room where we could have our meals or sit and play games when it was raining outside. There was a shared sitting room so us going to bed at different times was not a problem.

Everything seemed to be permanently damp. There were not enough hoops or rails in the ensuite to put wet towels - I ended up hanging mine on the handle of the door to the hallway.

Staff Welcoming on the phone, good communication and guidance. Felt like home away from home with a spacious room and a very clean Kitchen.

If this was my bed I had changed the bedsheets. The sheets were clean but for some reason not so comfortable.

Overall it was OK and suited all that we needed.

As we were going to an event, the location was perfect, just 8mins walk away but still close to the city. Also a very close fish and chip shop for a meal. The room had all that we required. It was good to have a fridge just for our room. It was easy to speak to someone if needed.

The shower room was OK but smelt a bit damp. There was not much cutlery and crockery and glasses for guests. The TV aerial didn't work however we did get Iplayer after a phone call (I may not have managed this without my daughter!!).

A comfortable, clean but basic stay, not far from centre of Plymouth.

Good location, quite central, good bus links and walkable to centre. Was quiet enough overnight, clean and comfortable. Good communication with host and check in details.

Needs a bit of a refresh, some tired looking furniture and shelving. Rather basic. Television did not function on freeview.

Glad I came and for the cost it was well worth it but would choose a hotel next time

I used to live nearby a long time ago so this was a nostalgic weekend. Fish and chip shop very handy and food was delicious.

The area looked rather run down. People in the room above me were very noisy.

It was decent

The room was spacious, the heating was adjustable to our liking, the staff was quick to response and very helpful.

The cleanliness could be better, there was mould in the shower and on the windows. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was hair on one of the towels that was left for us to use.

Great room with the added bonus of a fully functioning shared kitchen, which was great for keeping costs down for breakfasts

Bed was very comfortable

Noise from the electronic door voice every time a guest entered or left, no instructions for the tv, the extractor fan in the toilet was filthy and the ceiling could do with repairs to the coving and a bit of paint to cover the obvious leak from upstairs.

By far the best value for money accommodation I have used on booking.com. Having a fully kitted kitchen most esp microwave and access to fridge/freezer is the best thing so you can travel with your own meal (if you don't want to burn your budget solely on outdoor food) on your holiday worked really fine. Parking was free I will recommend this place 100 times.

Cheap for a reason

Tidy and good shower. Great price. Easy entry to property. Bathroom was quite nice.

The mould. Walls were clearly suffering from damp and have just been painted over. This also made the room smell a bit. Can't help but feel like this owner has done the bare minimum to be able to make some money. Parking is difficult here. Walls are thin so can hear the other guests. The front door has a voice system on it so if someone goes in or out you can hear it. The owner should also remove the tarpaulin from the outside it's an eyesore and not a good sign for arriving guests. Couldn't fit provided kettle in the sink to fill it up

Very shabby from the outside, not at all inviting. Entry was ok, codes for doors. Bed …well adequate Bathroom untidy and shower door would not close when in use. Didn’t really use kitchen facilities but looked ok but dated.

The room was dirty cups were dirty, bathroom walls were cracked and had damp patches, shower door only stayed closed if you held it closed, shower power was weak, tv reception was poor Tried to contact owner but to no avail. Felt a refund was in order as we moved out early in to better accommodation. Obviously student accommodation

Very disappointing accommodation.

Bathroom smelt damp. Towels were not clean we had to go out and buy a set. We found an extra pillow but it was stained. We had to buy toilet rolls as there wasn't enough. We had to also buy 2 mugs as the 2 that were left were not very nice. The coffee was all hard and the spoons had see better days. Very tired and run down. There was a wet towel with some sort of costume all wet in a bag in the wardrobe.
