Spotless, quiet, friendly, well located.

Very clean and well located. Frau Thome was so very helpful as I had an issue regarding my car and she really tried to help me which was very kind of her. The hotel was spotless and they even have a small fridge with cold beer and water on a trust sytem on the third floow which was great when I sneaked down there in my pajamas in the early hours for a nice cool sparkling water.

I wouldn't change anything! The variety offered at breakfast was smaller than most hotels I have visited but there was still enough to choose from and didn't concern me as there was a bit of everything.

Great place to stay while visiting Heidelberg

We had a very pleasant stay. This was our fourth visit to this hotel. We like the rooms,the location, and the breakfast. Quiet neighborhood with on street parking.

Disappointing Stay

The staff was good and helpful. Location was close to tram stop which was convenient to go to city center. The breakfast was ok.

The bed in the room was really small, not a a normal double bed you may expect from a hotel. Besides, the air conditioner was not working. The room was always hot and there was no fresh air during the night. Although we informed them on 2nd day, they couldn't fix it. There is no even a simple kettle to make tea in the rooms. The breakfast was ok but the options were quite limited. The value we got compared to the money we paid was disappointing.

Wanted to cancel breakfast. This wasn't possible as staff can't book credit or refund... the breakfast itself is highly overpriced for the sad offering they have. Also the place is definitely not 4 stars anymore. Far outdated!

Superb

Nice hotel not far from the city center. The tram line is not far away from the hotel that gets you right to the city center. The place is quite and the staff is super nice. The breakfast is great and worth the money if you think to have one in the hotel. The beds were great for the whole family, so the place is definitely suitable for families traveling around.

Nice hotel in a residential area

For the conference I was attending, the location was quite good. I also liked the fact that we were close to Kaufland. The doner place across from Kaufland was also very good. The room was clean and I liked the fact that I could choose to have my room cleaned only every other day.

As a Canadian, I prefer cooler temperatures. The room temp was good enough but could be colder. The thing I would have really found to be helpful was ice. I know this is a very Canadian/American thing. Eventually, I found a bag of ice at Netto mart but having access to ice at the hotel would have been nice. Or, if ice is not practical to make, a guest refrigerator would have been nice to store our drinks and other things that needed to be cooled.

The staff was very helpful. They provided a water cooker and ice. It was very close to public transportation. The street was very quiet.

The room had air conditioning but it was minimal. The shower was a corner of the bathroom with a shower curtain that did nt go all around the rod, so the floor got wet when we showered. The blackout shade would not stay down when the room key was removed.

good for a small family - though a bit dear

it was very clean and twenty minutes from city center by streetcar, which was in close proximity. it was fab that the family Heidelberg card was available at the reception desk, the breakfast staff and food itself was quite good. the bunk beds were behind sliding doors which made it quite safe even for younger kids.

the evening staff due was not great. admiringly, despite having ensured the correct family room designation and four beds on our booking, during browsing the mask on booking.com must have reset and the kids weren’t on the booking. once discovered, as the room definitely was the right size/designation, I said we’d pay the difference and apologized, but the fuzz made and way we were treated was as if we had committed a crime. once resolved and paid I expected it to be better, but when I asked for towels once they came the two (!) night porters came to our room and wanted to remove the ladder from the buntbedruckt. the male didn’t even ask if he could enter so my 5 yr old (stripped and ready for the shower) hid behind the bed, crying out that she’d please like to sleep in the top bunk. we paid a whopping 300€ a night for a room w/breakfast, that couldn’t cool below 20C (or heating kicked in), 20min from city center…in Heidelberg‘s industrial area, on a long weekend. I’d expected a bit more curtesy and professionalism. the day staff made up for it. they were delightful, helpful, friendly… and took the time to tell us what normally you’d be told upon check in (how and where key cards are needed and work and when restaurant was open, where to find things etc.
