Vila Parc

We stayed at Vila Parc for 4 nights during the Untold Festival. The location was excellent and very close to the festival area, which made getting around very convenient. What we liked: the private parking space, the large room, air conditioning, TV, free coffee, and the self check-in process. The room was reasonably clean, and we appreciated being able to check in and out without any direct interaction.

What we didn't like: the price felt quite high for the overall condition of the property. The shower drain was partially clogged, causing water to accumulate while showering. There was some mold in the bathroom, the ventilation fan was not working, and the bathroom lighting appeared to be improvised and could use improvement.

The location and proximity to Cluj arena were perfect, helped us to avoid having to get taxis at the end of the festival each night. It was also walking distance from some good restaurants and a gym!

The building itself and rooms are quite antiquated, for what we paid I think we expected them to be a bit more modern. There also wasn’t a maid service or breakfast provided (with the exception of coffee) as advertised.

The property has very large rooms with very clean and modern facilities. Good location as it's within walking distance from the central park and the city centre.

My only issue during my stay was that I was woken up early three of the four days I stayed there. My room was close to the reception area and the staff seemed to forget that they have people who might be trying to sleep in the rooms. On one instance, someone was hoovering at around 8am, on another the staff was talking loudly among themselves on the hallway. Which is a shame because it ruined what would have been an otherwise very pleasant stay there.
