this was my 4th or 5th visit and I come again and shall bring friends and family.

Breakfast was excellent. lot of choice, fresh fruits/veg available for juice. ambiance in the wooden STUBE is great. The location is very special and cozy. the wine hills are fantastic, excellent view.

I found the half-bed a bit small in room 303 but it is not a bad bed. unfortunately I had no time to profit of SPA and garden infrastructure but shall come back. thank you, it is a very nice hotel.

Beautifull Decor and Gardens

We requested a dog-friendly room and were thrilled to find one that opened directly onto a patio and the pristine gardens. Our dog loved being able to step straight outside. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for us. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore the hotel’s spa areas. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was plenty of parking. The gardens were vibrant and well-maintained, and we enjoyed a lovely morning stroll before the unfortunate moment of leaving.

It was a really nice, typical German hotel in a beautiful area. Good food and excellent breakfast.

No airco, it was very hot in the room. Had to walk the stairs because elevator stopped floor below.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by vineyards

Beautiful surroundings - the gardens are lovely. Room was big, bed was comfy and the restaurant was amazing.

Room was a bit hot and they didn't have any fans. The staff were a bit dismissive when we asked, which was a shame as everything else was excellent.

A quiet place for a weekend break.

A nice, friendly, quiet place for a weekend break. The gardens and the surrounding area were good places for walks.

It would be good to have more spa facilities open during the middle of the day. The main sauna/hammam area was closed until the middle of the afternoon.

Hotel & restaurant with a very enjoyable atmosphere

The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. Although we did not have a reservation for the restaurant when we arrived and the restaurant was fully booked, the owner told us it would be no problem to have dinner. The dinner was delightful and fairly priced. The restaurant is very popular. We had a lot of choice for our breakfast and it was served in a nice and friendly setting. We only stayed for 3 nights in order to visit Strasbourg and the Hornisgrinde area but also used the opportunity to make a great walk to the Staufenberg castle. In retrospect, we could have stayed some more days to discover the surrounding region. Parking spots were plentiful.

Not good enough.

Nice location in the mountains. Spacious room with balcony.

We did not feel welcome. We booked our dog and were told that it is not OK, we had to argue about that. On Booking.com is written that there are 6 restaurants. Main reason for us to try that! However there is only 1 restaurant and they told us that we could not eat there as it was fully booked. Finally we got a table (after I asked serveral times) and it turned out that the restaurant was half empty. Staff is not friendly, very formal (this is a holiday hotel...) and every request seemed to be problem. Owning hotels myself and love to travel to nice places, this one is not a recommandation which is a pity for the beautiful area it is situated in.

Lovely oasis nestled among wine fields & the Black Forest

Lovely room with a terrace which was fabulous. Staff were exceptionally helpful and nice. Location is terrific to hike the Durbach wine fields, or go to the Black Forest - or visit local wineries. Felt like a resort!

Accueil très chaleureux et personnel aux petit soins, chambres et petits-déjeuners exceptionnels, hôtel joliment décoré, équipements multiples, spa très agréable, jardin autour de l'hôtel magnifique, environnement calme et au cœur de la nature.

Nécessité de prendre les escaliers pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Total idyllisch, alles wunderschön 🤩, so wünscht man sich einen gelungenen Hotelaufenthalt, sehr freundliches Personal und Essen/ Frühstück top. Jederzeit wieder

Uns hat alles gefallen - nur die Buchung würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht mehr über booking.com vornehmen - ( mit Balkon gebucht - „ französischen Balkon „ erhalten) - aber wir waren trotzdem sehr zufrieden mit unseren Ausblick

Perfecte plek voor een tussenstop, mooie lokatie, de tuin is echt prachtig erg veel zorg aan besteed, het buiten eten is eveneens een feest

De kussens van de bedden stonken, dat was jammer, regelmatig verversen of stomen is zeer aan te bevelen.
