Cute hotel in lovely wine area, perfect for a quick stop off.

We only stayed for one night, and only used it to sleep in, as we were out and about. However, the staff were very friendly on arrival, and the room was a lot bigger than expected, as there was three of us sharing. The hotel is in a quaint village, we visited the vineyard on top of the hill nearby, and had dinner in the village.

Pleasant hotel in Durbach - a friendly village

Great situation for exploring the area. Great views of the castle. Big rooms and bathrooms.. comfortable beds. Good parking available. Friendly service.

The rooms and bathrooms are looking a bit dated. Although functional and clean they now look old in this category class of hotel.. Lighting in the room needs an overhaul as there are too many light switches and the lighting isn't good enough to light the room on darker days/early morning. Breakfast was acceptable but the choice was not very interesting for a higher class hotel.. The big problem for is was that coffee was not good at all - this put us off going back.. There is a very good restaurant that I had visited on previous visits ( and I would recommend) but the prices have now become so high that we chose to dine elsewhere.

Location in the centre of Durbach, next to municipal swimming pool and near restaurants. We are a family of 6 and the larger of the two rooms we booked was excellent (a. Apartment that slept 4 people)

The smaller room (201) was great but it got very hot, even with the fan on. The weather was however particularly warm (32 C+). Unfortunately the restaurant was also closed due to a private function.

No iron or ironing board in room, stairs and a buggy are not the best combination but we made it work

For practical reasons I would return

Having been a late summer day, it was nice sitting in the garden having a fully functioning WLAN. People have been friendly and the hotel has good local restaurant down-stairs

Hartelijk personeel. Zeer gezellig hotel en omgeving. Lekker eten in het restaurant.

Meubilair op de kamers misschien wat gedateerd maar we vonden dat dat niet veel uitmaakte.

Freundliches Personal und Angestellte

Gebuchtes DZ wurde auf FeWo gesetzt. War ok-aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wartezeit im Restaurant waren zu lange. Erst nach dem Nachfragen wo unser Essen bleibt wurden wir bedient. War etwas komisch und nicht nachvollziehbar. Auch wurden wir nicht nach weiterem Trinken gefragt, sondern leere Flaschen einfach im Vorbeigehen abgeräumt.

Studio Preis- un Leistung ist gut. Essen war definitiv nicht so gut. Gibt bessere Lokale in der Nähe.

Studio im 2 OG war schön und sauber. Balkon mit Aussicht ins Grüne war schön und sehr ruhig

Frühstück musste man extra zahlen. Zu teuer für was es ist. Abendessen war nicht gut. Personal am Abend eher unfreundlich. Da wir anstelle der Frites Teigwaren wollten mussten wir einen Aufpreis zahlen. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar…

Fantastisch hotel, zo vriendelijk

Ruime studio voor 3 pers. En onze hond. Heerlijke bedden. Fijn balkon. Uitzicht op zwembad en het slot. Vriendelijk personeel! Prima gegeten in hotelrestsurant. Ontbijt was heel lekker, goed verzorgd. Komen graag nog eens terug. Kamer 308.

Onze hond vond de metalen treden van de trap niet zo fijn. Slechts een detail.

Wir kommen wieder!!!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und hat einen großen kostenfreien Parkplatz. Direkt nebenan befinden sich ein Freibad sowie eine Minigolfanlage. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren erstklassig, ebenso die Auswahl an Weinen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, und das beruhigende Plätschern des Bachs in der Nähe trug zusätzlich zur Entspannung bei.

Ich habe mich von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und Durbach ist sehr idyllisch.

Wie ich oben schon angekreuzt habe...ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und dies zog sich durch meinen gesamten Aufenthalt...Vielen Dank das es auch so toll geklappt hat mit dem Blumenstrauß von meinem Mann, ich hab mich total gefreut...

Leider war eine der Duschtüren defekt, habe dies angemerkt und es wird wohl repariert bzw. erledigt ...

Fijn hotel in mooi wijngebied!

Tijdens onze terugreis vanuit Italië naar Nederland bij dit fijne verblijf overnacht. We hadden een ruime familiekamer met aparte slaapkamers. ‘s Avonds heerlijk gegeten op het terras. We onthouden dit verblijf zeker voor een volgende keer, want we zijn nieuwsgierig geworden naar de omgeving. Schoon, ruim en heel vriendelijk personeel!

Fint hotell i fantastiska omgivningar!

Fint hotell där omtanke lyser igenom, mycket mysigt, ligger i fantastiska omgivningar. Väldigt välkomnande mot oss som familj och tillgången till pool gjorde det lilla extra! Cirka 40 min till Europa park så perfekt för er som vill kombinera vin och fina omgivningar med lite nöje 🙂
