Hotel Restaurant - Häuserl im Wald Graz

A good hotel in a nice location at the top of a hill. It has a restaurant with an extensive menu, which is helpful given its location. The room was clean and comfortable, although the furniture was a bit worn.

WiFi was ok, but slow, and dropped a few times. The cleaners tried to come in to clean our room at 8am each morning, even on the day we were leaving, which was annoying.

We booked one night here, but when we arrived, we booked a second. Not only did they upgrade our room, but the entire property and home is filled with character, charm, and art. It is MAGICAL here. The gardens, the home, the furniture... Breakfast was great, plenty to subsist. We did also eat at the restaurant. The hospitality was really nice. We arrived late, super tired from a journey all day, and they left all proper key and instructions for us right on the front door where it was easy to spot. Comfortable beds, all amenities, good modern bathroom, parking easy, no issues at all. It is just a GORGEOUS traditional property and all the beauty of Austria and the home's history is evident in its rooms. I am so glad we booked a place that felt genuine and charming.

No complaints. Do keep in mind that in the summer months by the playground you may need tick preventative.

Morning outter surrounding was pleasant.

Huh... We came late, our keys and instructions how to find our accommodation waited for us on the door of the main house. It was all fine, BUT coming at night at that surrounding was really spooky. Inner atmosphere of the Sunny house was more like ''medieval'', creaking and smell of old wood, statues of saints in the hall... Everything in the middle of darkness and wood. So, nice during the day, very unpleasant during the night. Children were not at ease as well. Breakfast was fine, but pretty ''thin''.
