Clean and spacious enough rooms, a bit noisy some nights as the building is old and in a busy street . Nice cosy rooms, the fireplace is beautiful. The staff is helpful, didn't try the breakfast so can't tell. If I were to be picky I'd say that the WiFi was a bit slow and there was a fridge in the room but eating is forbidden. A pity there was no coffee or tea in the rooms then. The location is great though, there are many restaurants, cafés and shops around.

I don’t usually do negative reviews.
In this price range it’s not worth it, rooms are outdated. No soundproof, noise from the streets and the hallway. Bathroom needs renovation it’s makes sounds when flushing. Cigarettes smell not sure where it’s coming from.
I tried to cancel my booking prior my check in but they didn’t allow it.

The room price was not too low. We saw some pictures from website and we expected that will look “historical”, but it’s not only old but it’s DIRTY. The blank cover was dusty, with dust on the floor and corners. And the worst thing was the noises. It’s not just from other guests but also from outside. There are many restaurants out there and the environment was just terribly noisy. It was still up after 12.am. There were also the ridiculous house rules of not allowing you to eat and drink (including water) and no hanging clothes in the room. We could not stand it at all and we decided to switch to another hotel immediately so technically we did not stay overnight there (and we were lucky enough to get room in such last minute). And the price for that hotel is not a lot higher than this. It was a nightmare experience and don’t go if you do not want to ruin your Paris trip. There are lot more better choices out there.

The area is okay..but the hotel is lacking of toiletries.. floor is dirty.. elevator too small…
When we arrive one of the staff is not accomodating..
