Split Old Town Apartments

Location is superb, and the room is cute and nicely decorated.

Shower was not working well.

The location is extraordinary. In the middle of the old town but in a cute small alle so it isn't too loud at night. The interior is very cute, authentic and quaint. There is a big supermarked around the corner. We had little issues with the key and the hostess was available via WhatsApp even late at night. Very courteous. All in all she cared about lot about our well-being!

Location was very handy for the Old Town, the shops, etc. Great location for Riva. The 2 bedroom apartment was quirky (in a good way) and the 4 bed apartment had a great balcony & a washing machine, which were both appreciated.

Noisy at night as you are really in the heart of the Old Town of Split (so both good & not so good). The showers: the 4 bed apartment’s shower was very low for adults & difficult to use while the 2 bed apartment’s shower was leaking.

The host of this apartment was excellent! Great communication and access instructions made it very easy to find the apartment and she also had some good recommendations for the area. The apartment itself is right in the middle of the old town and was a very convenient location. The roof terrace was also a bonus, although I did not use it as much as anticipated, however, made drying clothes after boat trips very handy.

The room used as the main bedroom overlooks an open square which gets sun all day, and consequently the heat in this room is stifling. I believe due to building regulations (as told to me by a local) it is not permitted to have AC installed on exterior walls but a fan would have been useful and could have mitigated the heat. The noise was also exceptionally loud, with tourists and drunks up to 2am and then traders setting up from 6am. Of course none of these are due to the fault of the host or the apartment but a fact of staying so centrally. I slept in the smaller room with the bunk beds on my last night and wished I had stayed in there the whole duration as it was cooler and quieter.
