I had a great time, but three nights is too long to stay and split. One maybe two nights is enough.

The location is great very easy to get to from the ferry and the bus station.

The stairs were impossible. They were 59 stairs and a spiral staircase of limestone. I was thankful that I had the help of the staff people carry up some of those stairs and down those stairs, but I wouldn’t count on it. I tried to limit my times going back-and-forth during the day so that I didn’t have to do those stairs

Great location

Great location. Clean, comfortable bed and good size room. Had a seperate entrance so we could go straight down to old town on a shorter staircase. We used this regularly and didn’t need to use the spiral staircase.

Unfortunately we were unable to use the terrace as scaffolding up and workers using.

A perfect location to explore and enjoy the beautiful city of Split

A beautiful apartment in the ancient Diocletian Palace in the centre of the city and although it was hot and humid outside, it was cool inside and the air conditioning was not necessary

The apartment is on the third floor so a bit of a challenge for me

The place was very easy to find, excellent location in the heart of the Old Town Split, this place / accomodation is inside of a historical, one of the most famous building in the Old Town Split, very friendly hosts, the room was comfortable, clean, very satisfying, at the reception there were some cookies, coffee, kettle, shampoo, lotion and shower gel, free to use. I love everything about this place! Highly recommended. 10/10.

It is on the 3rd floor of the building, lots of stairs, no elevators, please please please do not bring large luggages when travelling and staying in the Old Town Split & Old Town Dubrovnik, you'll regret it! :) Bring only a backpack + small cabin luggage and you'll be alright. :)

Overall it was a good stay, Split is a wonderful city.

1. The location is in the heart of old town, everything is nearby. 2. The stuffs are very friendly and helpful, easy communications. 3. Room is clean.

1. Noise from the streets during the nights and early mornings, avoid this apartment if you are a light sleeper. 2. Mosquitos. My partner and I suffered a few bites, they got very itchy and swollen; 3. WIFI is weak, it dropped from time to time.

Living like a King

I could tell thought and care is put into the accomodations. It is super clean, bed and pillows are comfy and the cookware is good quality. Also, the location is fantastic. Smack in the heart of Old Town, everything is like a 5 minute walk. But yet the apt is quiet and we could escape from tourist and heat.

The haul up 4 stories with luggage but it's worth it!

A small apartment in a central location

The host was an enthusiastic and cheerful lady. She gave a pre-admission introduction of the house rules, and even recommended some nearby restaurants. The location of the apartment on the main street from the main gate to the peristil was extremely convenient.

The attic unit was small, with bathroom even smaller. There was hardly any space to stretch the limbs.

The location was incredible and the room was spacious and clean.

Host was friendly and helpful however wasn’t very responsive. Had trouble entering apartment upon arrival as was not given clear instructions. It is up 3 flights of stairs.

Bathroom is clean but tiny. No air conditioner in the bedroom, luckily it wasn't so hot outside. Three flights of stairs were difficult with luggage.

Stress free, comfortable and very pretty.

Wonderful host. Extremely clean room. Terrace overlooking the square. The facilities were perfect! There was even a small kitchen area. Little bowl of sweets left in the room was a nice touch. Right in the heart of everything!

Not their fault, but there are a lot of steps up to the top floor so you would need to be pretty mobile!

The studio was an excellent room and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

As we had been there before, we knew about the 3 flights of stairs to the apartment, so stored our large bags and took our carry-on bags only. The host very kindly upgraded us to the studio which was excellent.

When the door to the balcony was open the mosquitoes came in in droves. No tea or milk provided.

The proximity to downtown Split was great, especially since we needed to catch the ferry the next morning. The room was quiet and comfortable, with hot running water and access to a fridge with water.

The location was initially hard to find, and the trek up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases was difficult.

The free access to a terrace is a complete understatement. You can access if you have alpinism training and are below 30.

Beautiful clean room but prepare cash

The location was perfect. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed in, immaculate. Really beautiful room and spacious with the addition of cooking facilities a lovely terrace to people watch from.

We had a bit of trouble checking in due to arriving early and didn't receive a message about the checking out process so had to phone booking.com. Would also rather pay card but this room was cash only.

Fantastic location at a reasonable price - right where you want to be in Split.

Located in the center of Diocletian’s Palace, this studio apartment was perfectly situated to enjoy the old-town ambiance. The room is reasonably sized, though the bathroom and kitchen spaces are a bit tight, but manageable. This location had the best bed of our two week trip! The outside terrace gave a charming view of a beautiful plaza, and it was fun just to watch people. It was so beautiful, I felt like we were in a movie - this couldn’t be real! Split can be quite noisy with the amount of people coming through and that did echo up a bit to our 3rd floor room, but was not really a challenge. The owner communicated with us before our arrival, and the owner’s daughter and son-in-law were helpful to get us settled in and answer any questions that we had. Would certainly recommend this beautifully decorated room for any stay in historic Split.
