Les chambres de l'ATELIER à Montignac Lascaux

The access to the parking spaces takes you through an old city center and you will need to be comfortable with knowing the exact dimensions of your vehicle. Other parking spots are close to the river and only a 5 min walk away. The contemporary apartment is done cleverly, with shared amenities and rooms where possible (eg kitchen, washer dryer, fridge, dishwasher etc) and private where needed (bed and bathroom). Supplies are restocked frequently.

Diane and Emmanuel took care of us as soon as we booked. The ongoing communication was great, the expectations were set as well as many good surprises. The place was BIG, the location fantastic (walking distance from everything). Drivable to Lascaux IV. The list continues. Honestly. Diane has thought of everything ironing board, coffee pods, all the cleaning supplies. TV+ cable.

NO AC. Although the owner, Diane had said that the temperatures inside weren't that bad. It was descent to be fair. An AC would have made the place EXCEPTIONAL. It was excellent but because of no AC not exceptional....;-)

Location was great in the centre of town in the corner of an attractive square. The shared kitchen/dining area was well equipped and made a nice area to meet other guests.

Our room while clean and nicely decorated was clearly the smallest of the 3. The window looked across a small alley, in shade which made the room quite gloomy. (The pictures on the website did not reflect this). The other rooms were bigger, and had lovely bright rooms overlooking the square. We were staying for a week, and asked if we could change rooms as two guests left. Unfortunately this could not be accommodated, though we would have thought any new guests could have taken our room once it was vacated/cleaned? Overall, we enjoyed our stay but left 2 days early as we felt our request could have been accommodated.

Location was great, comfortable and clean. Nice shared kitchen. Allowed us to store bikes in lobby. Laundry facility was good to have but took a while to figure out in English( my problem not theirs)
