Everything had been thought of, so well hosted and I had everything I needed. I could have stayed so much longer. João was brilliant and super helpful, even giving me printed schedules for the event I was going to!

I recommended staying at this accomodation if you want to escape the chaos of the touristy seaside towns. It's an excellent base for exploring the region by car. The owners, Virginia and Joao, are very kind and not intrusive at all. The house could use a few touch-ups, especially the shared bathroom. However, the rates are very reasonable compared to the averange in the area, so there's really not much to complain about. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the peacefulness of the area. I also appreciated that each room had its own set of pots and dishes available for the entire stay. I suggest parking your car near the market or along the main roads if you don't feel like venturing through the narrow and sometimes uneven streets of the village. In the room where I stayed, there was no air conditioning, only a fan. I mention this for those who are looking for that type of comfort. I stayed in September, and the temperature was very pleasant, so I do not know whether the area stays copler even in the middle of summer.

Super ! Nous avons une chambre avec une salle de bain et cuisine partagées. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. L’emplacement est idéal, proche des plages de la côte.
