Intentionality of sourcing local fruits from the market. The poached eggs were top notch as well as the local baked sourdough bread not to forget the muffins and porridge. A wonderful variety to choose from.

We had a lovely stay at In Toto Retreat. The room was beautiful, very spacious with a great balcony with views across the lake. Very well equipped and peaceful location. It was nice to walk around the area and the lakeside. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough for the pool but the pool area looked very nice. We had a great evening nearby at the Wednesday evening food market recommended by Roland the host. The locals were very friendly. Roland was a great host and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Enjoyed a trip to nearby Knysna Heads. Thank you for a great stay.

Fabulous property. Large very clean comfortable rooms . Lovely pool area. Very helpful host and friendly staff. Great breakfasts. The location is stunning. Could not fault anything. Thank you Roland and staff for a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely return.
