Kambaku was easily the best stay of our 2 weeks in South Africa. From the moment we drove through the gates and made our way up to the property, we felt like VIP guests staying at a private wellness retreat. We were greeted with sparkling strawberry lemonade and breathtaking views from the balcony. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtful and intentional. My only regret aside from not taking advantage of the onsite gourmet dinner, is only staying for one night! I’d love to return and stay for a few days, the whole property feels prime for rest, relaxation, and recharging. The views from the pool are sensational, you could lounge out there for hours feeling all your stress melt away. And the breakfast… oh my goodness.. The breakfast was the cherry on top of an already perfect cake. Do yourself a favor and book a stay here, for more than one night if you can! You won’t regret it.

Magic position with a view over the water and far over the mountains. Both mind and eye can wander free. Lovely rooms, lovely staff and really good homemade food. A true home away from home

The view and setting was incredible, and we enjoyed the boat ride. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with an amazing balcony view. A very large and comfortable bed, and the shower was good. Probably the most scenic breakfast i've ever had.
We were the only guests there so it felt a bit asleep. The premises are kept up together but are dated.
We were made to feel welcome and while the service was adequate, compared with other places we stayed on this trip, it could have been improved. The quality of the breakfast was average and speed of service was slow.
