The location of the hotel is a short walk from the metro station, Flaminio. The rooms are clean and have an ensuite bathroom. The hotel was next door to a couple of restaurants. We ate at the closest and everyone enjoyed the food. (2 adults and 4 children) It is beside the Twin Churches and Leonardo Da Vinci museum. It felt like a safe neighbourhood.
We had no complaints.

Friendly staff, helpful and there was generally always someone available. The location was an easy walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and gelato shops and a stones throw to Piazza del popolo. It's an old skool Italian style hotel, that's what I wanted and it delivered.
Rome is expensive so your hotel dollars won't go as far as in other parts of Italy. That's a Rome problem, not a hotels problem. I would go back however next time, I'd probably like to experience a different part of Rome

Location was great with restaurants near by.
The description stated 24/7 reception which was absolutely not the case. Sat in the reception for 45 minutes waiting for someone so I could check in. When I was later in my room I tried to phone reception as I had a question and still no answer after calling 3 times.
