Friendly staff, helpful and there was generally always someone available. The location was an easy walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and gelato shops and a stones throw to Piazza del popolo. It's an old skool Italian style hotel, that's what I wanted and it delivered.
Rome is expensive so your hotel dollars won't go as far as in other parts of Italy. That's a Rome problem, not a hotels problem. I would go back however next time, I'd probably like to experience a different part of Rome

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff. They even allowed us to store the luggage in the hall during our last day so we could enjoy our last hours in the city without carrying our luggage with us
The bed was not very comfortable and the walls were a bit thin and could hear your neighbours

Location was great with restaurants near by.
The description stated 24/7 reception which was absolutely not the case. Sat in the reception for 45 minutes waiting for someone so I could check in. When I was later in my room I tried to phone reception as I had a question and still no answer after calling 3 times.
