    This is a lovely hotel to reach at the end of this section of our Camino walk. The staff are marvellous, warm friendly and very welcoming. Really enjoyed using the Thermal pool. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

    The building and its grounds are beautiful and the views across the river and to the hills are gorgeous. Our room was a very good size and very clean. Staff were very helpful. Restaurant is in an adjacent building, the ‘meal of the day’ very good value at €25. The cafeteria wasn’t open while we were there which was a shame, and the breakfast buffet wasn’t great ( limited amounts of food, especially fresh fruit). We used the spa which was €12 for 90 mins, it was ok but the hot rooms didn’t seem to be working properly. We recommend the walk to the nearby village of San Juan, once you get past the first busy road it is a quite walk to the village and seashore ( approx 8km there and back). We would use this hotel if in the area.
