👍🏻There is 24/7 reception and the room is cleaned daily. There’s 2 small and 2 large towels in the bathroom. 👎🏻The floor was dirty, the bathtub was tiny—so small you couldn't bathe properly—and the neighborhood was terrible! Noisy at night.

We stayed at Pergamos Hostel for 4 nights, and overall, our experience was quite mixed. Location & neighborhood - The hostel is relatively close to the city center, and the nearest metro station is about a 10-minute walk away, which made it convenient to get around Athens. However, I would recommend being aware of the neighborhood before booking. The area felt a little rough and not particularly safe, with some homeless people and people who made us feel uncomfortable around the streets. That said, we personally did not experience any safety issues during our stay. Cleanliness - Unfortunately, cleanliness was one of the weaker points. The room was not particularly clean, and we even noticed some bugs in the bathroom. Towels were changed regularly, which was good, but we did not really notice proper cleaning of the floors or surfaces during our stay. The fridge in the room was also very small and had an unpleasant smell, so we did not really want to use it. Noise - The walls were quite thin, so we could hear a lot from the neighboring rooms and other parts of the building, especially at night. One night, for example, a woman started yelling and screaming in the middle of the night, which was quite disturbing and honestly scared us because we had no idea what was happening. Staff - The staff were friendly and helpful. When we needed an iron, they provided one without any problem, and everyone we interacted with was pleasant and welcoming. Air conditioning - The air conditioning was definitely the highlight of our stay! Athens was very hot during our visit, so having a strong and comfortable AC in the room made a huge difference. It worked really well and was very much appreciated. Overall, I would say that the hostel is a reasonable option if your priorities are location, affordable accommodation, and good air conditioning, but I would keep the cleanliness, noise, and surrounding neighborhood in mind before booking.

The location is a bit shady. The staff was nice. It's not luxurious but worth it for it's price
