    This hotel was the biggest disappointment from our whole holiday and i regret the agoda app doesn’t allow me to add the pictures but i will on google reviews. I have stayed at Nh before and the hotels were top, i did not expect to be so big diff from one hotel to another. We got a room on 1st floor with view to the interior court - something depicted from a horror movie. Out of question to open the window although necessary because the air in the room smelled toxic. Furniture in the room looked like it was fished from the trash bin. Old and very dirty. Maybe old wouldn’t be so bad if it wouldn’t be dirty. Same counts for bathroom sanitaries. They have a bathtube which is narrow and have to use as a shower and the bottom of the tube was dirty or stained so in any case not entincing to lie down in it. Pipes rusty. No ventilation in the bathroom. What saved the day was the comfortable bed, friendly staff and ok breakfast but the status of the hotel is innacceptable for NH group and for the money you pay. For this money in Bilbao you can book at a 5 star hotel as Melia which for sure is cleaner and more pleasant. If it would be classed as a 2 star hotel and the price would be corresponding to a 2 star hotel my comment wouldn’t be so harsh, but from this chain the expectations are high and they didn’t live up to them.

    Great location and staff with easy access to the Gran Via. Breakfast is well worth the additional cost, while the only negative would be the threadbare towels. It’s time for some new ones.

    The location is a plus, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The amenities like the amenities like hot water and WiFi work well. Facilities offer basic comforts but there's definitely a room for improvement to serve the guest better.
