Location, stuff, breakfast and room just perfect

All new and clean. The stuff very nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast where you can also choose to have something fresh from the kitchen. We received an upgrade when we arrived, instead of our double doom we received the deluxe room and it was very nice. They also have sauna and jacuzzi for an extra fee. And the view and location just perfect in front of the lake.

Back to Luino as a guest

Location is Is definitely a big plus. Our room was very big, comfortable and had lots of storage. Free onsite parking is also great and breakfast has been appreciated as well. Check in and check out have been smooth enough.

We found a good bunch of hair in the shower, like accumulated from few days. But the main aspect is the fact that I have basically been obliged to book on booking.com as price via phone and on their own website were either higher or the same of Booking. I then went on booking.com, meaning the hotel paid a commission while nothing has changed for me.

A hidden gem - would definately return.

Classic hotel from a bygone age. The staff were wonderful and the facilities were superb. Happy to look after our bikes in a secure garage overnight. Waiting staff were so attentive. breakfast was perfect.

From the balcony, you are blinded by a floodlight that's on at night. It doesn't shine into the room, only outside.

Overall nice hotel by the lake

Overall the Hotel was really nice. We had an amazing view over the lake. The breakfast was amazing, there were a lot of options and they even made you fresh pancakes, omlette or other. The Staff overall was really nice and the room was really clean.

It was a rather pricey hotel, but even so a lot of things cost extra. Spa would have costed rather lot, even the coffee in the room was extra. The rooms were pretty small, but still comfortable.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. We especially liked the jacuzzi / sauna on the roof. The room was much smaller than expected but perfectly adequate. The staff were very attentive and personable. Breakfast was a treat.

A fabulous stay in a delightful hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and lovely staff.

It was a beautiful property in a perfect location. We had a lovely room with a delightful balcony overlooking the lake. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the food and drink was excellent and the facilities were great. We would love to return!

Excellent house with a warm and friendly atmosphere!

Beautiful house, newly renovated, nice outside area and terraces, located directly at the lake. Big comfortable room, high standards, comfortable bed and pillows. Very friendly and open-minded staff, very good restaurant and breakfast offering. We felt very welcome and spent a beautiful weekend in the house.

The initially booked room with lake view balcony was not available and during check-in this was not mentioned and we were just checked-in to another room without balcony. Only after pointing out this matter, the hotel arranged some compensation which was well handled then. A more pro-active communication would have been nice.

Superb

Beautiful old villa with fantastic views over Lago Maggiore. Staff couldn't be friendlier and the shared roof terraces are simply a wonderful place to spend a lazy afternoon with a good book.

Out room really was tiny, but I think that may have been because we got the last one :)

Beautiful classical building, rooms very comfortable and luxurious. Very good bathroom. The terrace is pretty, surrounded by flowers and palmtrees. Excellent restaurant with boyant service and the breakfast has a great choice of delicious dishes.

The television only had italian channels. For the wifi we had to register rather than just having a password. I disliked the music in the restaurant and terrace which was american rather than italian, but the waiter was so kind as to turn it very low.

Charming Hotel in a Not So Charming Town

A lovely and distinctive hotel with a superb staff and a very fine restaurant. They are aiming for Relais et Chatteaux or SLH, and I think they will make it.

Didn't particularly like the town. The much touted weekly market is very down scale.

A great hotel next to a stunning lake.

The staff were very, very welcoming to ourselves and especially our dog. The overall feel of the hotel was a great mix of historical house, family run hotel and smart fitments in the room. The power-shutter completely blocked-out light. Victor (general manager?) especially and his team were a great asset to the hotel.

The room was advertised as sound-proofed, but we we able to hear the occupants of the room opposite one morning. Maybe the walls are sound-proofed but not the doors.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am See. Aussergewöhnlich freundliches Personal,sehr gutes Frühstück und ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Ein Hotel,in dem alles stimmt.

Beim Frühstück könnte auch etwas Rohkost (Tomaten,Paprika etc.) angeboten werden.
