Very central location and friendly staff. Large, comfortable room. Good breakfast.

The room was very basic, no soap or shampoo provided.

Very good location, and the main building is beautiful, representative. Very close to the Salzburg-Passau bicycle road. There is a very good place to store the bicycle in a covered place, and the room is very close to the bicycle. The host was very friendly and helpful; I could borrow a very nice pump with pressure gauge, to repair my bicycle tire!

My room was not in the main building (which is fine), but the cleanliness and smell in the room was - to say the least - not excellent. Even though I am not a picky person. But very probably the rooms in the main building are very different. My experience was only for the separate small building around 20 meters from the main entrance (the room for bicyclists with a lot of Marilyn Monroe pictures).

Been there before, but this time I got a single room in the main building. Mr Wimmer is an awful nice guy, Ironman champion and like, always ready to share his experiences. :-) They have their own restaurant, and they cook very good.

The bed mattress van a bit torn, slowly but surely needs to be replaced. I could also do with a glass, say, while brushing my teeht or drink a glass of water. Probably I could get one from the kitchen, though, but would make sense to have one in the room.

The location is good for transit. The owners are very kind and friendly. Quiet area.

The room needs a proper cleaning, there was piles of dust in the corners. The check in was stressful. I arrived at 16.00, within the check in window but no one was there, just a sign on the door that they would return around 5pm. I arrived with pets that were suffering from travelling and we hurried up to arrive so the cats can get out of the boxes and the hot car. Waiting for the reception to return (phone not answered) was very annoying. If they know they are never there around that time, it should be mentioned at the booking.
