Our stay at Grand Hotel des Alpes was perfect! Since our arrival, the staff, Lucy, Eliana, Natan went our if their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast, hosted by Silvia, was top notch every day! The property offers very comfortable accommodations in a very classy style. The location of this hotel couldn’t be better for enjoying the many activities Chamonix has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

It has an old school charm. The lobby and lounge are comfortable and charming. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
While the location is very central it can be very noisy at night in some instances. If you book a room on the Brevent side loud crowds can cause enough noise to keep you awake, moreover if it is snowing they will be plowing snow right in front of your window at early hours.
Breakfast is not up to par for a 5 star, not bad but not 5 star.
SPA facilities are not up to par for a 5 star. Not bad but if there are more than 5 people it is not enjoyable.
