    A lovely place to soak up the atmosphere of chamonix

    The location is excellent and very convenient. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep during the summer. The rooms seem to be designed for the winter months, as they retain heat and become quite warm. Since most travelers reasonably assume that hotel rooms have air conditioning, this information should be clearly stated in the property’s listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking.
