Consistent, comfortable and convenient hotel for stop over to final destination

We have been staying at this hotel twice a year for several years as a stop over to our final destination either in the South of ski areas and it is consistent. Only down side is that there isn't a larger lounge with proper log fire

Wonderful stay in beautiful hotel.

We loved our stay. Very convenient for skiing. The hotel has so much charm, great food both at breakfast and evening meals. The staff were very friendly. We are planning to return.

Nice overnight stop with superb restaurant and great staff

Nice rooms and nice spacious shower room with large towels: this makes a welcome change from many hotels where towels are tiny

Slept very well. Bed was extremely comfortable.

The restaurant was decorative and atmospheric. The service was the minimum that could be expected. The food was mostly acceptable but the steak was execrable. You wouldn't get away with this in many other countries.

Comfortable but stressful.

Location good, beds comfortable and decent shower. Bedding nice quality and friendly staff.

The room was tired. In need of a lick of paint and carpet very cheap for the price. The parking is a major problem, it belongs to the restaurant and we hung around for 45 mins for a space. Tight spots to park, expect your car to be damaged.

The staff are very polite and helpful. Service is really good. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. Parking is good and the hotel is easy to find. The restaurant is very good and obviously popular.

The room was very dark and gloomy - and has seen better days. The shower leaked and there was a pool of water behind the sink. The hotel is next to a busy roundabout so it is noisy if sitting outside. It is probably overpriced but would be worth it with a bit if a revamp. Breakfast menu is limited.

Comfortable stop over.

Friendly staff. Very clean room. Great food in evening at restaurant.

Not enough staff at breakfast. One member of staff appeared to be trying to run reception and deal with breakfast room! Family members who went down to breakfast later said tables not made up and lots of food items had run out. Not staff members fault as had too.much to do!

Rooms were clean , staff reasonably friendly .

Food and wine overpriced . The breakfast area is open at 7.00 am. However, at 6:30, I asked if I could simply get a coffee. The waitress gave me a resounding NO!! That she was too busy. There was a coffee machine in the breakfast room. It would not have been an issue for the waitress to simply point that out.

Dissapointing room but fabulous food

The restaurant was amazing, superb food and a friendly atmosphere. We sat outside to eat, it was busy but very efficient. The most amazing continental style breakfast with home made granola, pastries cake, fabulous selection of fruits and teas. The best breakfast I've ever had in the most gorgeous room. A very convenient place to stay on our way to Switzerland

The room really let the place down, it was very dark, the trees outside are huge and don't allow any natural light in. The decor was tired and the paintwork was damaged in places.

Staff friendly but the room could have been much better

Restaurant good with very friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the meal. The location of the hotel was good near to the A39 for our final destination the next day.

The air conditioning in the room made a noise but did not work. The bathroom extractor did not work properly. The position of the toilet to the basin was dreadful and hard to use ! And the bathroom needed cleaning better and required the bath sealant to be renewed as filthy.

Good location for a stop off on way back to UK from the Alpes. Very good dinner with lovely staff. I was on crutches due to ski accident so the disability access was helpful. Only negative was we could here some sort of electrical buzzing, room 3 ( possibly vmc) which disturbed our sleep.

We have stayed here before, and were very happy to return. The location is excellent for travelling across France as it is just off the motorway at Dijon. The room was a good size, is clean and comfortable. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast.

Easy to find hotel and good for an overnight stop. great convenient restaurant onsite. Comfortable beds and pillows. Outdoor carpark.

Rooms were dark and a bit dated. The ensuite was very dated and could do with a total refurbishment.
