Excelent experience, great location, fantastic hosts.

Laura, Gabriele and Federico were excelent hosts. The nicest people in Italy!! Every recommendation they gave were really useful, and our stay was better with their assistance. The house is very well located, 30 min away from the city centre by bus, and 30 min away from the Airport by taxi.

Everything was great. The apartment, the location, the amenities. The hosts, Gabriele and Laura are amazing people, so kind and helpful. Bologna is lucky to have them. We will recommend Casa Il Gelsomino to our friends and when we'll come back to Bologna we'd like to stay again at Casa Il Gelsomino.

Fantastic find

Lovely modern spacious property - exceptionally clean . Laura and her son made us feel so welcome and showed us round the apartment on our arrival- recommended places to eat and shop- nothing was too much trouble

Great apartment & amazing hosts

A beautiful apartment in a well served area (supermarkets, trattorias, cafes). Comfortable beds, fully equiped kitchen, clean spacious toilet, free wifi. There's a nice balcony to have a cofee or just relax. You can walk to city center (20-25 minutes) or take a direct bus (5 stops) just in front of the building. Laura & Gabriele are great hosts, friendly and always ready to help you. They gave us restaurant recommendations, local transport advice, deposited our luggage before check-in and past check-out hour and even booked us a taxi to the airport. I highly recommend!

Brilliant apartment, clean, spacious, well equipped. Perfect hosts. Ideal location

Wow, what a fantastic apartment. It was so spacious, clean and supplied with everything you could want. The location was brilliant, we got a taxi from the airport and it only cost 15 euro, and yet the apartment was still within walking distance of the city centre or a short bus ride. The hosts were exceptional, so friendly, efficient and helpful for our first visit to Bologna. We are already planning our next trip here.

Pleasant stay in wonderfull apartment

Fantastic apartment. Very spacious and clean. Everything is there. Lovely owners. Location is good, easy walking to the centre of the town. (20 min.) Also the lovely parks outside the town are near. (1 km.) Highly recommended!

Great three day stay here (partly visiting city, partly remote work)

Very well equipped and spacious apartment. Charming welcome by the host family, who put a lot of effort in making you feel at home and also recommend activities (good idea to follow these btw).

Wifi was a bit flaky (good on day 1, intermittent on day 2). If you're working remotely: expect to (sometimes) need 4G hotspot for e.g. video calls.

The host family is very friendly and helpful. One of the sons (also great English speaking gentleman) offered my 5-yr old son some toys to play, and my son loves hi-five with him. The apartment is very large and the beds are comfortable. It is 15-18min to the airport, by taxi is around 16-18 euro, by airport bus is 6 euro per person, which you can get off half way or to the central station then catch another city bus. Because the apartment is between the airport and the city center, so it's easier especially if you travel in groups by taxi from the airport. There are coffee shops and delicious restaurants nearby, very friendly neighbourhood. When the weather is sunny, we prefer to walk to the city center, it's around 25 min slow walk. The bus is convenient when you download the local transport app Roger to buy the tickets. We enjoyed our stay in Bologna, it's friendly, not so crowded with international tourists, food are good, walking around is easy. The apartment is fully equipped, but we spent so much time in town, that we didn't have the need to use the kitchen at all.

Naprostá spokojenost, vřele doporučuji

Naprosto výjimečné, vřele doporučuji. Skvělá komunikace, hned od zadání rezervace se majitelé zajímali, poradili. Komunikace v italštině a angličtině. Krásný byt v klidné části Bologni, v blízkosti centra - pěšky asi 15 minut nebo 3 stanice busem. Čisté, s veškerým vybavením, k dispozici káva, čaj. Ve vedlejším domě bar kde si můžete dát sladkou snídani, samoobsluha pár kroků. Majitelé jsou velmi milý pár, bydlí hned ve vedlejším bytě, takže jsou prakticky stále k dispozici, přes WhatsApp nám pan Gabrielle zasílal tipy co kde vidět, zamluvil nám taxi zpět na letiště, všechno vysvětlili, poradili. Velmi jsme ocenily, že jsme si mohly nechat kufry na ubytování až do odjezdu na letiště, před odjezdem ještě využít toaletu. Velmi se mi líbil balkon, kde se dá krásně posedět s kávou nebo aperolem a užívat dolce vita.

Nemam co vytknout. Možná bych pridala rychlovarnou konvici.

Mooi en ruim appartement op een uitstekende locatie. Meerdere prima restaurants en cafés op loopafstand. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam!

Toffe en aangename verblijf buiten het centrum.

De communicatie met de host was perfect en zeer behulpzaam. Elke vraag werd snel beantwoord en de host gaf ook veel tips. Het centrum was vlot bereikbaar met bus (halte voor de deur) en ook te voet goed te doen vanuit het appertement. Het appartement voldeed ook aan al onze behoeften. Mooi en gezellig terras in een rustige buurt.

Ma che bella sorpresa !!!

Ben oltre le aspettative! Gabriele e Laura sono stati sin da subito super attenti per renderci il weekend comodo e spensierato. L'appartamento era fornito di ogni cosa, anche la più impensabile. Pulizia, cortesia e una disponibilità oltre l'immaginazione ci hanno permesso di vivere tre giorni a Bologna alla grande! I loro consigli ci hanno permesso di scoprire angoli bolognesi davvero interessanti... e poi i letti dell'appartamento sono soporiferi ... un sonno perfetto ! Grazie a voi !!! Speriamo di rivedervi presto.
