Good for a short stay

Great location close to Yosemite park entrance. No frills property but great for a quick overnight stay. Property was clean and spacious. Enjoyed the wild turkeys that visited in the morning.

Towels are worn and need replaced. Some nice extras would be to provide coffee filters and fresh coffee and some extra ice cube trays.

Great location, off the road. Quiet - we saw a deer trot by the house. Spacious. Park right by the cabin. Good shower and a/c.

It is not loved! Owner should spend a bit of money and bring it up to date. It looks a bit neglected. No hooks and no shelves in bathroom and bedrooms.

The rental is 30 or so mins. from the Big Oak Flat entrance of Yosemite, older place, but very clean and spacious .

Location was perfect as we wanted something close to Yosemite. We enjoyed the deck and the quiet surroundings.

I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of this house. Spiderwebs in the windows, ants on the kitchen countertop and in the dishwasher, mouse traps inside and outside. We actually saw a mouse and decided to set the traps ourselves. I understand we are in an area with critters but letting your guests know ahead of time would have helped. We had to wash several cups and pieces of silverware as they had stains and food on them. The comforter in the master bedroom had a white, crusty stain on it. There was a broken window blind thrown on the railing of the front porch. This property felt neglected. It doesn’t need to be new but show some effort.

Good

Groveland is a lovely little town. Drive to main entrance of Yosemite Vally is 30 minutes AND then another 45 min to get into the valley. In total 1hr 30 min drive each way (longer for other entrances!) If you want to avoid a 3hr round trip drive then this is not for you. Perfect for us as we wanted to explore the area and not just Yosemite National Park. Inside the challet was well equipped and thought of 👍 The owner was great, very responsive, accommodating, informative and friendly 😃

Outside of challet in need of some real TLC and a good clean. The challet is not called Yosemite is Calling so was a little misleading when we were looking for it. Some of the deck furniture sadly been eaten by squirrels although it was recently replaced. Maybe get a cover? General cleanliness inside was good however oven has seen better days, shower curtain in one of the bathrooms looked grubby and one of the store cupboards looked like a dumping ground. Could have done with some general instructions on how to use and find certain things (especially is you are not a USA citizen) eg how to use the shower in one of the bathroom or where the hair dryer was.

The location was fabulous. It was quite and serene. The background barbecue area made our night. Although it was an hour drive from Yosemite it was worth the stay as Groveland is a small and beautiful town.

This is the perfect place for people who want to get away from the city environment!

Great location, great amenities, very comfy. We spotted a couple of deers and squirrels in the backyard, and it was so exciting!

We were looking forward to using the grilling area to barbecue at the place, but it turned out that the grill was dirty. We ended up cleaning it and barbecued some steaks for lunch.

The property was nice. The rest of the house was clean.

The water pressure was low and the beds were not comfortable. You need to bring more paper towels because there is only one per stay and you will run out fact. The distance says 4.4 miles to Yosemite gate but actually it’s 26 miles which will take you about an hour to get to actually park. That was a big inconvenience because if we knew that we would have booked a closer place.

Grande maison dans un environnement pittoresque (rivière, faune...) en pleine nature. Certes, il y a un petit peu de poussière et quelques toiles d'araignée mais la maison est quand même propre et entretenue. Tout est mis en œuvre pour un bon accueil. Cette maison est rustique car elle est entourée de végétation mais elle est néanmoins agréable.

Il manque un grille-pain et une douche ne fonctionnait pas mais cela n'a pas nui à notre séjour car il y avait 2 salles de douche.

Leider hat die Unterkunft nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen, ein Pool war nicht vorhanden.

Die Ausstattung und Größe des Hauses war für eine Familie gut und wie auf den Bildern, denPool gab es aber leider nicht. Der Vermieter war aber zu erreichen, freundlich, und wir hatten so die Möglichkeit, die zweite Nacht zu stornieren.

Für unsere persönlichen Ansprüche liess die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Die Oberflächen waren zwar gewischt etc., aber gerade in den Ecken sah man, dass es einmal einer ausgiebiger Grundreinigung bedurft hätte. Aber das ist natürlich auch ein vorwiegend subjektiver Eindruck. Leider funktionierte aber auch die eine Dusche nicht, und der auf den Bildern der Unterkunft dargestellte Pool war gar nicht vorhanden (das ist natürlich auch objektiv nicht ok, wenn es in der Beschreibung steht). Insgesamt war diese Unterkunft während unserer 4-wöchigen Reise leider die einzige, von der wir etwas enttäuscht waren, sorry.
