Quirky but fun!

The place is unconventional - not what you expect. It formerly had four cabins, but now apparently there are only two. We stayed in #3 - #1 and # 4 are not there. The cabin looked shabby on the outside, but was delightful inside! The cafe/gift shop was fun, served good food.

Hard to find. Google Maps gave bad directions, sent us on a wild goose chase through winding hills. That’s not the property’s fault, but just expect bad directions this far up in the hills.

Just what we needed

Most everything. Clean, friendly, relaxed, cute and updated cabin, dog friendly with history on location. Good at restaurant was wonderful.

We had our large dog with us and not much area to hike or walk, but on the property. Which was ok for our one night stay into Yosemite. They were gracious and kind.

Interesting place, comfortable, great resturant on premisies - german specialties.

The property has about 150 years of history, my little cabin was secluded, nice portch to hang out in the evening. Their resturant on the propery was exceptional, I ate dinner and breakfast there.

The Roku device for the TV was broken, so no TV viewing though I was perfectly ok with that. There was also quite a bit of traffic heading up and down the short-cut old glade road which ran in front of the property.

Rustic charm meets modern conveniences for a wonderful experience!

We appreciated the very clean rooms and the location to dining was a huge bonus, just a few steps from our room. We chose to eat both dinner on the day we arrived as well as breakfast the following morning and both meals were very good, as was the service. Although our cabin had loads of rustic charm, the restroom had been updated and the amenities were top of the line. The staff were also very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early and as the room was in the process of being cleaned, we couldn't check in at that time. Management gave us our check-in packet to use if we arrived back after closing.

It would have been nice if the pool had been open for the season. Although this is not something the staff can fix, traffic noise on the adjacent road was all night long. As it's a long hard pull for cars, some were louder than others.

Perfect for a stay when visiting Yosemite

Super location. The team is great and very kind. There is a cafe/restaurant just next to the cabin. The rooms are very comfy, beds with great mattresses and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it warmly.

The view was amazing! It was a super cute little cabin. I love that it was a family run business.

BEWARE!!!!

Absolutely nothing. BEWARE!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Booked a cabin and when I arrived didn’t know which one, how to get in, and couldn’t reach Steve (the owner?) as my calls went straight to voicemail. I left a message for Steve while I was there. Tried calling 2 other times before giving up and finding another place to stay. I prepaid on Booking.com and have yet to hear from Steve or receive a refund, even after sending him a direct message and Booking.com sending him an email.

Cold

Priest Station is on the route to Yosemite. The location is great with nice views. Loved the restaurant for breakfast.

It was nearly cold enough to snow when we checked in, but the heat wasn't on in the cabin. It took HOURS to warm up the room. Being that cold was uncomfortable in a room that was not cheap. I won't go back to stay.

Hot water smelled so bad like rotten eggs we didn't want to shower in it. Bed uncomfortable to us. No regular coffee pot...just pot to heat water with instant coffee 🤮

Lovely private wood cabins!

Such a cute cabin! we loved the small private deck, the view, and the room inside as well. comfortable bed, enough space, good bathroom! the cafe/ restaurant is also good :) a really awesome stay if you want a private wood cabin.

the staff at the cafe/ restaurant was a bit overwhelmed. a suggestion: we got the information for self check-in in advance, but we still needed to go to the cafe because we didn’t know which cabin number was ours. that could be communicated too :)

parking for the actual cabin was tight but i ended up parking in the cafe parking lot that was only 100 yards away . (I have a lifted truck)

Exceptional

After a long day in Yosemite, we loved arriving at Priest Station. The cabins were just perfect: cosy, nice wooden furniture, terrace with a view. And the restaurant (open 8am - 8pm) has all you need: relaxed atmosphere, kind laidback staff, good food, local products. We really enjoyed our stay here!
