Excellent stay in a great area. Very comfortable, quiet and welcoming!

Peace and quiet but close to town centre. Exceptionally clean.

The only tiny thing would be to find sheets that fit the double bed properly as the fitted ones kept coming off. Also to remind the hosts that there are leaks in the ceiling when it rains that need attention.

Perfect place for Lake District stay

The position, in the center of Windermere and the private parking. The flat was big enough for 3 guests, very cozy, with board games, books of the Lake District. The kitchen had all that we needed (fridge, electric kettle, etc.).

The staff just gave us the keys, without saying anything. We received all the instructions through messages in the app, but a few words from the staff at the arrival would have been appreciated

An extraordinary hideaway within easy reach of so many activities.

Location was wonderful, central but quiet. It was a boon having parking. The flat was great, although we felt a scrubbing brush and extra loo role could have been included. We very much enjoyed staying and hope to again.

Don't think there was anything we didn't like. One of the lights in the bunk room did not work and, as above, a scrubbing brush for the dishes and an extra loo roll would have been nice but we were busy and time flew and it was great to be in the heart of things.

Comfy, Fun, Relaxing

The sofas and Neflix made it extremely enjoyable to sit down with friends after a hard day at a mountain or biking. We also enjoyed the cooking and playing board games that they provided.

The toilets required multiple flushings for it to work. Sometimes required almost 10 flushes. Other than that it was perfect.

Great location but very dated

Excellent location, close to the train station and shops. I loved the view to the street and park. Friendly staff. I had to call about a leaking toilet and got it fixed by a nice guy. Washing machine and dishwasher are a great addition. The wifi was very fast.

The sheets were very old and stained. They also had a very heavy scent from washing powder, which made me feel a bit headachy even though I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances. The towels could also need updating. I would have appreciated having more than two toilet rolls, a drop of Fairy and one bin bag, since guests are expected to throw away the trash. The kettle bottom was also burned, and it wouldn't cost much to have it replaced. The automated booking confirmation messages were very long and repetitive, so it was hard to find the relevant information when needed.

The parking. The parking at the rear was absolutely unbelievably tight. Had there been cars parked in the spaces next to the one allocated to this flat, I genuinely don’t know how you would get in or out of the space.

A lovely stay

It had a good variety of books and board games, as well as a fully functioning kitchen, which along with netflix was good for the odd rainy day. Comfortable chairs and nice decor.

The beds weren't too comfortable, and the loo flushed weakly. Other than that, it was good.

My son quipped "the ghetto" on arrival. It stuck.

Wholly inconvenient key pick up from a different location in Windermere. No parking. Disgracefully late check in time of 5pm, which the owner would not budge on despite repeated imprecations by email and phone. No explanation given. Accommodation block a little rough; young lads shouting and playing loud music. The flat itself was grim. I'm no 5 star hotel dweller, but do appreciate kitchen handles not being slathered in the grease of years. Blood stained sheets almost finished me off after unpacking, but a good job it didn't as I had to fix the ball valve of the toilet. It's shabby, and it ain't chic. Torn privacy curtains added an extra touch. But this is all minor compared with the shower. My 8 year old managed Sharp Edge, but I wouldn't risk him in that shower. From boiling to freezing in seconds, and back again, and back again. If you have a children or an older relative, beware. The 3 flights of steps you have to drag your suitcases up and down might also prove off-putting.

Beautifully clean little flat in the centre on Windermere. Quiet and perfect for what we needed.

The parking spot is a great bonus, but it’s on the narrow side.

Great choice for location, space and comfort (kitchen, netflix)

-homely, roomy flat -very clean -TV with netflix and two sofas -board games and guides of the area -a lot of storage space if needed -fully equipped kitchen with cooker, kettle, fridge, microwave, washing machine, pots etc (limited restaurant options in the town in our opinion) -nice view from the living room window of park and even a tiny bit of the lake -Central location but quiet -Good price compared to other accommodation in the town -bed was ok -helpful and polite staff at the agency

-flat was a bit wet, no central heating and couldn't work out some of the electric heaters (quite old) -flat could use some redecorating and new towels/sheets (ok but used too many times) -the flush is flimsy. Works best if toilet seat is down -stairs, no lift (we didn't mind but thought should be noted) -only two rolls of toilet paper, no kitchen rolls or toiletries -After booking, same automatic long message with guidance was sent too many times. Didn't get a reply to a message I sent through the site

wonderful holiday cottage that met all our needs

we were so happy to be back at the cottage after every day's adventure. this cottage is great for short trips, especially if you dont like the food options around and want to prepare a quick meal (oven, toaster, pots and pans, microwave available, as well as salt). that said, we loved the chinese takeaway 2 mins from the place (magic wok). has really useful guides on how to operate the house and local walks in the area. furnishings and notices around the house feel like someone put a lot of thought into maintaining the place, just adds to a really cosy vibe. beautiful place that we would highly recommend. really really great value for money

the place is a little old. some of the appliances were leaking - the fridge, one of the pipes below the sink. shower pressure is a little small. there also wasnt any shower gel or shampoo. we came prepared with that, but none of the other reviews mentioned this point, so future guests should take note. stairs, as other reviews have mentioned, would not be ideal for those less mobile

Lovely family stay

This apartment was so clean, homely and spacious, there was everything we needed in it. It was a great location too. The kids loved the selection of games in the cupboard.
