Simple perfect

The location was quiet but only a short drive from town. Lots of great walking routes. The cottage was homely,comfortable and had everything you needed. The garden was private and very quiet. The owners were always just a door away if you needed anything.

Excellent Place

This was our 3rd stay and it never disappoints. The accommodation is warm and welcoming just like the owners. Everything you need is provided and it's just such a quiet beautiful place. Our dog really likes the garden which is large and well maintained. You get a really yummy welcome basket when you arrive as well which is such a nice touch. The shower is very good,the bed is comfy,the rooms are light and airy. It's a lovely spot as well especially if you enjoy walking. The area has a strong mining heritage which is all easily accessible from garden cottage. St just is only 3 miles away and it's full of great places to eat,from pubs to cafes and takeaways. Along the coast you can explore the mining areas of Geevor,Lelant and Botallack. There is also a pub at Botallack with excellent food.

To be honest there was nothing we disliked,we will definitely be going again in the future.

Perfect place in every way.

The location is quiet and private,the property was clean upon arrival with the keys easy to collect from a lock box. The hosts are helpful and friendly. There was a lovely basket of goodies on arrival and they had even thought of leaving milk in the fridge for us. All the facilities worked perfectly. Lots of lovely walks in the area and pubs,shops etc within a couple miles.

Dreamy!

10/10 would recommend! Exceptionally clean and tidy, perfect size for a couple. Cozy and lovely throughout. Partner loved driving through the small roads around. Close to all the amenities yet a lovely retreat in the country side. A definite must if visiting Penzance. We’ll be coming back!

Fabulous Place

Our Garden Cottage stay was very relaxing and had every comfort needed. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was immaculate and very clean and had all the usual facilities, like dishwasher, washing machine and dryer etc. The cottage is off a quiet country lane and parking is outside the cottage on an exclusive car park to the cottage. We very much enjoyed our stay at Garden Cottage and would recommend to any prospective traveller.

Access to the car parking area could be an issue for less skilled driver, there was a knack of doing a 180degree left turn into it. Internet was poor, and there is no mobile network coverage. As a business owners we found this slightly limiting, but we were there for a chill week so we tried to turn off.

Perfect Stay.

Firstly,great location,especially if you like walking. Lots of places nearby to visit. The cottage is cosy and welcoming with everything you need. Bed is large and comfy,kitchen has everything including a dishwasher which was a treat. Bathroom has a large power shower. Weather was a little wet during our stay so we made real use of the utility area which was perfect for dumping damp stuff and the dog! Garden is a good size with lawn and pretty flower beds,great space again for the dog. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming,very nice couple who had lots of knowledge about the area. Were looking forward to visiting again.
