The Beach House

Super Lage-direkt am Meer, gute Ausstattung- alles was man braucht, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nah, wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt

wir haben die Unterkunft sehr schwer gefunden-durch Flugverspätung im Dunklen angereist, auch der Parkplatz war nicht eindeutig ausgeschildert

The location was incredible , overlooking Port Beach in Newquay . The accommodation was clean and we had a lovely welcome pack , the two bathrooms were in excellent condition , cannot find any faults whatsoever .

There was demolition work very close to our accommodation, occasionally dust blew over to where we sat in the garden , also this was very noisy at times . Some of the houses on the estate were looking very 'tired' , needed cleaning , painting etc , i noticed some doors missing or hanging off the gas / electric meter cupboards , and a lot of dead plants / foliage .

Schlüsseltresor machte check-in leicht. Tolle Lage und Ausblick, gemütlich eingerichtet, Garten u. Terrasse toll...Ein wunderbares Haus, zu viert reichlich Platz.

Es kam ein Arbeiter unangekündigt und reparierte etwas am WLAN. An sich gut aber wir haben uns erschrocken, als ein Fremder im Haus war als wir hineinkamen, eine Info vorab wäre gut gewesen...

No reply to my phone message left three days before we travelled clarifying bedding and towels situation in light of the pandemic. Directions to accommodation could have been more helpful as the "complex" is a bit of a rabbit warren! We were horrified to discover the house had not been cleaned, and to find wet, dirty towels and sheets on all of the beds. Given the current climate, this was particularly unacceptable. The accommodation had an unpleasant smell-coming from the bathroom and en-suite-the en-suite did not flush effectively. On our day of departure, my husband encountered a very rude and unpleasant individual who we assume had something to do with maintenance of the site who told my husband he could not dispose of some empty cereal boxes in the rubbish bins. Bizarrely, he told my husband he would have to take them away with him. My husband explained we were unable to do this as we were getting the train home!
