I have stayed here before so knew what expect, but there as been improvements, a bigger TV, new fully equipped kitchen. Location cannot be beaten, on a quiet road just a stones throw from Tolcarne beach, and a short stroll into town.The house give plenty of space for everyone, me and my partner stayed with his sister and partner and we were not in top of each other. Bedrooms are spacious, have hanging space with lots of hangers, bed are comfortable.Due to the fantastic weather we spent little time in the house, but it would make a very good base for a holiday in less predictable weather, with games and jigsaws available.Would definitely recommend, thanks for the great stay.

We were just after an easy fortnight away beach holiday. This met all our needs - clean and comfy with all the items required. Location was a huge factor, so easy to get to the beach and walk into Newquay - hardly used the car all fortnight. Thanks.

It was a nice stay in Newquay. The beach was only 5 Minutes away and everything could be done by a walk. The house was very clean and also well equipped. Three bedrooms, a shower and bathtube and two toilets were available. The separeted kitchen give us all opportunity to cook.

Lovely home very clean and comfortable. Very homely feel with all mod cons and plenty of kitchen ware. Great shower in upstairs bathroom and a downstairs toilet was a great bonus . The location was perfect for the beaches and just a short walk into town. A GREAT STAY.

Superb holiday!

From start to finish we had a tremendous holiday experience, we could not have wished for better. Lee & Tina have quite obviously worked extremely hard to create such a well presented and much loved holiday home. Booking was easy, Lee was extremely helpful and friendly with excellent communication throughout. Enough off-road parking for two cars if required. With only a short walk to Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze beaches we were in our element. Town was easy walking distance too and when we came “home” at night the street was lovely and quiet apart from the seagulls (not a lot you can do about them!) We we’re so lucky with the weather too. All in all “superb” is our verdict. Many thanks Both, we will come again and have already recommended No.10 to others.

Driftwood is a Family home very clean and has a very comfortable double bed. Smart television with Netflix for the cosy evenings in. Lovely shower in the upstairs bathroom and has a downstairs cloakroom with W/c that is very handy. All 3 bedrooms are ideal sized. We felt it was in an ideal area for heading to the beach shops restaurant and having a parking space on the drive was just perfect.

House was clean and tidy, good location, detailed instructions on how to get keys and how most things in the house work. Netflix and good WiFi a big bonus, most necessities provided, would have been nice to have handsoap at all 3 sinks instead of just one and more than one tea towel for the whole week but just minor things that certainly didn’t spoil our week!

Driftwood is a lovely spacious homely property I really could live here... the rooms are beautifully decorated it has everything you could want washer, dishwasher, digital TV , PlayStation 2 and lots of games for the children! The beds are amazing and the shower was lovely! The walk to the closest beach is 2 min walk town is around 6 min walk and the shops , bars and restaurants are amazing! All the beaches in Newquay are stunning give them all a try ... you are also spoilt for choice for supermarkets and if you need something in a hurry tesco is a 2 min walk ... all in all our stay was brilliant just needed to stay longer ! Enjoyed our week here ( grandparents, son & wife and grandchildren 5 and 2). The house was clean, quite roomy and comfortable, kitchen well equipped ( only very small or large saucepans - we could have done with a couple of middle sized). Shower good, towels fluffy, bedding good. ( The twin beds are low, some elderly may have difficulty getting out. Also shower is over bath, so have to 'climb' in). Wi-fi good. Easy flat walking to town, easy driving or buses from house to beaches, towns and other areas of the county. Shop just round the corner very handy. A good base for our holiday.

We had a wonderful stay, everything we needed was provided and the location was great. Perfect for walking to the beach and the park or relaxing in the house and outside space. Plenty of space and storage and all facilities provided, plus a shop just round the corner for anything you’ve forgotten.

The property was great, with superb beds and shower. It was clean and well appointed. The provision of all towels was great saving much space in the cases and again all the linen was spotless. It was great to have off-street parking. It was an ideal location with only a 10-15 min walk into the town and the nearest beach was 5 min. There was shops and eateries about 7 mins walk away. The owners were very helpful and easy to contact. Would definitely use the property again.

We had a fantastic stay in a fab property. It was brilliantly located very close to Newquay centre yet set back enough to be lovely and quiet and out of the main area. It is well located to get to lots of Cornwall’s northern coastal areas and amazing towns, villages and beaches and the house overall was a great size and spotless, with a great shower and fab comfy beds. Great Property with all home from home comforts. Perfect beach location and convenient for town shops and restaurants. No need to use the Car once you have arrived but also great to have parking facilities if you want to explore further afield.

We had a last minute holiday booking. There were only two houses for rent left in Newquay and we reluctantly booked this house because the pictures on the website weren't great. So when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. It was much better than expected. The pictures should be updated really. The house has everything you need including washing machine, dishwasher, bath (most have only showers these days) which is handy for small kids and small garden. There were books, games and some DVDs. Tolcarne beach is the nearest (5min walk) and is a smallish private family beach. We went to Lusty Glaze (less than 10min walk) to try it however it was also private beach and because of covid-19 it wasn't open to public. Porth beach is about 15-20min with small kids. Lee and Tina were very quick to respond to queries and helpful. Zoo is only 10min walk from the house. The only thing we missed from our previous stay in Newquay was the beach view but it was fine. We will definitely consider coming back! Also realised afterwards that we should have booked directly with the owners! Will do next time

We had a perfect holiday whilst staying in Driftwood, we wouldn’t change anything and it catered to our needs with teenage children perfectly. The proximity to the beach and town were excellent and we hope to stay again one day.
