Great place to stay with good walks on the doorstep would recommend to friends.
Very clean and well equipped . Lovely to have a log fire on chilly evenings and the ability to have more logs for a small contribution if needed although heating was more than adequate. Location good as only a short walk to shops for supplies.
Parking a large car outside the cottage was difficult as the area is small and narrow especially if there were other cars around. However as indicated in the house information we could park the car 2 minutes away for free which solved this problem.

Great cottage ideal for walking and authentic dales stay.
Very quaint and different to normal which made it interesting and authentic for the dales area. The bathroom was well equipped and loads of hot water and good pressure. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well equipped we really enjoyed staying there.
There was not much that I did not like but the bathroom at the very top meant that if you were not fit the stairs might be difficult however it was not a problem for us.

Well equipped little cottage in good location with easy access to different parts of The Dales.
Cottage was well equipped with good use of the limited space. Beds were comfortable and heaters provided warmth without having to light the stove.
The living room is quite small and dark - fortunately the weather was OK so we were not there much during the daytime. Steep stairs to bathroom on top floor so not suitable for anyone with mobility restrictions.

tea & coffee for arrival would be nice but apart from that small criticism the property was lovely, clean, and I would stay again and also recommend to others

The location, closeness to great walking. Wensleydale creamery close for cheese. Great pubs in Hawes. Cosey cottage good facilities. Log burner. Plenty of hot water always.
It would be good if the kitchen washing up bowl could accommodate a dinner plate, but that is such a small thing to find fault in.
