A good comfortable stay in a well appointed cottage in a great location in a superb village.
Location in the village was very good but still had rural views. Very quiet.

We had a good time.
Location great and once we'd cracked the central heating the house was warm.
You can't do anything about it, but the toilet was extremely small. A pair of kitchen scissors would have been good. As ever, the kitchen knives were dangerously blunt.

Finding in the dark. Bright green railings work really well in daylight but not so well in complete darkness. Suggest a diagram to find property or mention the hashed non parking area.

prachtig uitzicht, midden in Hawes
Ruim huis in in het centrum van Hawes, maar rustig gelegen. De woonkamer is ruim en confortabel, met een prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels. Goed ingerichte keuken (een koffie machine (met cups) zou het helemaal compleet maken). De slaapkamer was ook ruim, met een goed bed. Het huis is op een verdieping, dus de bagage moet wel een trap op gedragen worden.
De badkamer was erg klein, en douchen kan alleen als je in de badkuip staat. Omdat het plafond vrij laag is, kun je (als je lang bent) moeilijk rechtop onder de douche staan. Parkeren op een eigen plek, dicht bij het huis is alleen mogelijk voor kleine auto's (VW Polo). Heb je een grotere auto, dan moet je langs de weg parkeren. Dat is wel gratis, maar veel parkeerruimte is er niet, dus je moet geluk hebben. Er is een groot parkeerterrein op 5 min lopen, maar daar moet je wel betalen (er is een speciaal tarief voor lang parkeren.
