The barn was cosy and quiet, it worked well for our group and we loved having the hot tub! The location was great for activities around Ullswater as well as being close to Penrith. The beds were comfortable and having three bath/shower rooms worked great for our group of six adults. The garden was secure for our dog and the area felt very safe.
The kitchen was on the small side so you could only really fit two people in there at once. The property felt a bit tired, the TV was very small and old (no streaming services) and some of the flooring in the hall was broken. The top bedroom had very low ceilings for anyone on the taller side and the bathroom was quite difficult to use for this reason! There was no tea or coffee provided which was a bit disappointing, and the parking was a little difficult despite the instructions on where we could park (the neighbouring property had three cars which meant one of our spaces wasn’t available)

Fabulous house with everything we could have hoped for, photos online make it look bigger than it is but being a bit smaller actually made it more cosy, excellent location for accessing the lake district, hot tub was an added bonus that we used daily. Would 100% go back.
From a personal point of view I thought the beds were a bit hard, as I suffer with a bad back the hard mattress made it a bit uncomfortable at night, saying 5hat it wouldn't put me off going back.

The area was beautiful, with easy access to the lakes. The pub and shop were delightful 😊.
There was an abundance of flies. No umbrella for shade when sitting out. Nettles on the patio area . More attention to the decor, tiles coming off in the downstairs shower. The claw foot bath, little unstable and leaked .
The pillows were as flat as pancakes. I have noticed that the price for next year has increased to £1,900. Definitely think it is overpriced and won't be going back.
