Anda Venice Hostel

The place was clean, the location is convenient since it's next to the train station and it's easy to get to Venice from it. The common areas were cozy, the bar inside the hostel and avaliable kitchen were super convenient.

The additional costs were unnecessary, you have to pay 6 euros for a padlock to be able to lock your stuff. No privacy curtains. In the room there are hairdryers and sinks, so you hear everything if someone decides to wake up early. (At least the earplugs were free). The AC in the common areas was unnecessarily on constantly and it was so cold. In the room the windows were locked, so the only way you can ventilate the room is with the AC.

For my first time staying in a hostel, I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the facilities here. There's a great atmosphere in the building, with people from all over the world, and the hostel makes it really easy to meet and connect with others. The room has everything you need to be comfortable and get a good night's sleep. The other guests were really friendly and I always felt safe and relaxed. The bathrooms and shared areas were well equipped, and there was everything you could need. The location is excellent if you want to explore: it's right next to the train station and the main bus stop for Venice and other Italian cities, and about a 15–20 minute walk from the centre of Mestre if you want to go out there. All in all, a top spot if you don't mind sharing a room!

We have booked a private dorm for all of my friend group and we found ourselves super comfortable, private showers were clean and spacious, check in was easy and amenities were great.

Some of the walls of the room have weird stains on them.

Extra 3 beds booked in a mixed dorm room, it was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Showers were clean.
