The design of the room is practical and the shower place is big. The air-conditioning is perfect for the hot summer. Really like there’s a room supplying welcome snack, water and tea.
There’s no reception and need to provide your personal information before you check-in. And I received the passcode only after I sent the message to ask the staff 2 hour before check-in.

It has a great location and it is very well organized in terms of check in, communication, etc. The common area is really a nice surprise with drinks, snacks as well as basic crockery and cutlery available at any time.
Lack of elevator is a bit of a challenge (but it is very well communicated before arrival!) and no proper luggage storage is a tiny minus.

Souto Guest House made our staying in Braga memorable.

The room was super clean. Excellent housekeeping team, very professional. Bed was comfortable. It has a small balcony which is excellent to catch fresh hair. The owner was always quick to answer to any question we had.
Stairs to the top. 😅 Completely absence from staff in the propriety (specially at Saturday). I think it’s better to admit that this is a 100% remote place instead of saying if someone isn’t there to receive you. Because we never saw anyone.
