Well-appointed, spotlessly clean apartment on a quiet street but only 30m from the beach. For a couple there was plenty of room; it might be a but crowded with four (we did not use the second double bed, up some steep stairs to a mezzanine floor) although probably fine with small kids. Nice to have a filter coffee machine (coffee supplied) rather than the ubiquitous, wasteful, Nespresso-type devices! There is a small supermarket only 5 mins walk from the apartment and dozens of restaurants equally nearby. It's <5mins walk to the funicular railway to the upper town and absolutely amazing views of the huge Atlantic surf and wonderful beach of Praia do Norte.
