About this chalet rental
Offering the perfect holiday for a couple seeking total peace and relaxation.
We are in beautiful countryside, yet close to two local thriving villages,offering a whole array of amenities.
The chalet has been completed and tastefully decorated recently to a high standard furthermore it is fully insulated for either winter or summer occupancy. it is located in our large garden with a nice selection of trees and shrubs and a beautiful pond.
There are some very nice walks in countryside in our immediate area, however , the Normandy Beaches are not too far away.
There are 3 local markets that trade every week and are always busy, they offer a true taste of French Life.
Also , Deauville , Trouville , Honfleur , are not too far away and well worth a day out !!! We are approximately one hour's drive from the ports of Le Havre and of Ouisterham.

My wife and I have recently fully retired to Normandy even though we purchased our property in 1988.
We have always worked in the hospitality/tourism industry.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chalet Bliss. Everything was just perfect – the house is very cozy, comfortable, and beautifully kept, and we truly didn’t miss anything during our time here. We slept very well, and the whole atmosphere made us feel at home right away.Even though we could only spend a short holiday here, we really appreciated the flexibility that we didn’t have to book for a whole week, which made it so much easier for us.The garden was fantastic for our dogs – they could happily run and play, which made the stay even more relaxing for us. It’s truly a dog-friendly place and ideal for a getaway with pets.We are very grateful to our hosts David and Tricia for their warm welcome and care. Chalet Bliss is a little paradise, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, flexible, and pet-friendly holiday in Normandy.

Beautiful and cosy little cottage in peaceful rural scenery. Fully furnished and decorated to detail. Excellent wi-fi connection. Very attentive and discreet owners.

The cottage is set in the spacious grounds of the owners, Trish and David. The setting is unbelievably beautiful. The grounds are huge and manicured and include a wide selection of shrubs, trees, flowering plants, and a lovely fish pond with a a fountain which constantly babbles away providing a soft relaxing sound of moving water. A truly lovely place to return to after busy days exploring rural Normandy.The cottage is small but perfectly adequate for two people. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. A tip - take your own DVDs because the TV only offers French programmes. Be prepared that there is no true oven for self catering. The micro wave will also grill and there are two electric hob rings. With a little ingenuity, we prepared suppers using a pre-cooked chicken, or cold meats from the deli, not to mention omelets prepared with eggs from Trishs chickens.The thing we will remember the most is the quiet, calm setting- only broken by bird song in the trees.Trish and David are anxious to help their guests have a wonderful stay, and couldnt be more helpful or gracious. We will certainly return if we are in that part of France again.
