Casa Aura Beachfront B&B

Group of 6 stayed in 1 of the apartments. Each room had a queen and 2 bunked twin beds. I had one of the top bunk and the bed was comfortable and larger than the twin at the last place I stayed. While the top bunk did not have a rail, I always felt safe. There is an AC unit in each bedroom as well as the living room that worked well to keep the room cool in the 90+ degree weather. The kitchen is large and decently appointed. The TV is a smart TV so you can login to Netflix, Prime, Apple, etc. We were also able to get laundry done in a few hours. There were a few minor issues throughout our stay that were immediately attended to and rectified. The best part of this place is the view. There is a patio outside of the apartment with a hammock, 2 chairs, and a small loveseat and table. This overlooks the restaurant Agua Salada, which is an lovely outdoor restaurant, and also the beach.

One minor item-the TV is mounted almost at ceiling height which makes watching it impossible from some parts of the sofa. A more pressing concern is the Crazy Monkey nightclub across the street. They VERY loud on Fridays. I thought it was the restaurant downstairs at first. Nobody in our group could sleep until the part was over around 2. If you are out bar hopping, probably not an issue.

The view. Wow. Possibly nowhere better in the world to sit and look out at. Beds were super comfortable and shower nice and powerful.

Could do with some storage in the bedroom and breakfast could do with some more options. One morning we were sent up to Pico as there was event on at hotel and that was a much better breakfast.

Great location right on the beach. Everything very neat, you could even cook there. You could walk straight to the beach. Breakfast was well arranged and tasty.

Rooms had cockroaches, that kept on coming and the shower drain filled the room with an ugly smell. Furthermore we had a room with no windows and the floor was full of sand even after cleaning.
