Close to the beach and shops. It was quiet. On Saturday there is a market right across the street. They helped me figure out transportation and scuba. The pool is nice too.
There was construction going on nearby.

It is my go to in Tamarindo. Green, safe and private in the Center. No where else like it.

Excellent location, especially if you are traveling without a car. It is downtown but is very quiet. Just behind you have a supermarket and a variety of restaurants. Strong AC
I have a horrible wifi connection. Big problem during my stay. The face towel was horrible quality and actually one of the towels—there were two when I arrived—smelled musty, so I left it on the floor to be replaced. However, it was never replaced during my stay. They only provide shampoo, not conditioner. Also, on my last day, I left the room around 12:00 p.m. and didn't return until about 7:00 p.m., but housekeeping never cleaned the room, even though I left the sign indicating that it could be serviced.
