Great location, lovely cottage with all we needed

Lovely place in easy access to road connections, but not noisy overnight and footpath nearby. Everything we needed. Friendly helpful host.

Lovely cottage for a couple. Highly recommend!

Lovely little cottage that was perfectly located for the things we wanted to do. Loved the wood burner, space for a couple was perfect, owners were really welcoming and helpful.

Water pressure was sadly very low when we were visiting due to works locally apparently which made showers a bit challenging. We love to cook and eat in so would have loved a small dishwasher rather than spending so much time trying to wash up with poor water pressure.

Really lovely place to stay, so much better than an hotel.

It had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The host was there to meet us even though we were delayed.

The water pressure on the shower was quite low but this may have been a temporary issue.

Beautiful character cottage in heart of countryside!

We had a lovely stay at Grooms Cottage, it's a beautiful two storey building with lots of character set in a rural location (but still close enough to nearby attractions, towns and shops) The countryside views stretched for miles from the bedroom windows! The hosts were wonderful and so welcoming, communication with Dee was brilliant and if there was anything we may have needed, she was only a phonecall or message away. The cottage is a separate self contained annexe, attached to the hosts property, it feels very private and safe, and there is onsite parking close to the cottage. There are lots of amenities with TV, DVDs, board games and books. The entire cottage is well furnished, stylish and very clean, with a large bathroom and well equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. Dee left a hand written message and a treat basket to welcome us, which was a lovely touch and so appreciated! The bedroom is beautiful and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the electric blanket was brilliant for the winter! The log burner in the living room was so cosy, and there was plenty of wood for our stay! Extra wood was left outside the front door for us in case we needed more! We really didn't want to leave! Thank you so much Dee, you have thought of everything! 😊

Was here for three nights due to working in the area. Would be happy to stay here again.

Very quiet location & private fields to walk around. Hosts friendly and helpful and left some treats which I hadn't expected. Bed very comfortable. Lots of free satellite TV channels. Secure gated accommodation.

Wi-fi dropped a few times but hosts sorted it. Photos make the lounge area look bigger than it is; however, it is the size advertised on the website.

Really lovely apartment, perfect for a short stay.

The surroundings were gorgeous and the apartment was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean with a large shower. The little touches were very thoughtful such as the coffee machine and snacks.
