Nothing like the pictures

Location was good

Dirty and careworn after a long term let. Cracked kitchen floor. The rear of the property is overgrown and unusable. We had to top up the boiler every few days. The host was very responsive at providing replacement bowls, plates, microwave, cutlery, bin (and a lot more) as everything was chipped or broken. Cushions were dirty. The curtains were tied back with shoelaces in the lounge. The couch in the lounge was torn. The second couch we had to cover as it was broken and marked. The carpeted were grubby as was all of the doorframes and skirting boards. Nothing like the pictures.

bannister on stairs was loose at the top and as I have poor mobility trying to go upstairs to shower wasn’t ideal. owner now aware. lack of mirror downstairs. table only seats 4 yet the house is for 9 people. we had to sit the children on the floor by the coffee table unless we all ate separately. if you slept on the settee bed no one could go to the kitchen or get to downstairs bathroom from downstairs bedroom

property was clean. good location for the wedding we attended. plenty of room for an extended family to stay.

TV didn’t work properly (no connection to tv channels so no live TV). nasty dirty stain on one of the mattresses. Damp marks on the ceilings around the house. Not enough mirrors in the bedrooms. Not enough seating for the number of guests that can stay.

clean, safe and with comfortable beds - exactly what we needed for a base when visiting family close by.

refurb was not the highest standard it could have been - small things like the finish and no lock on downstairs loo

Great property and fantastic location .

Fantastic house which is an ideal size to accommodate 4 adults and 3 teenagers and is only 25 minutes drive from Silverstone. Shops near by were we purchased food and drinks to take with us to Silverstone .Location was fairly quiet and we were able to park our cars outside of the property.I Mugo the owner is very helpful and gave clear instructions on how to get into the property.
