Really excellent breakfast, lovely bathroom and comfy beds!

There were no staff at reception when we arrived and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to check us in.

I really liked how helpful the staff were at this location. Joseph and Miriam really made the stay great. I also loved the proximity to the Torontoy bus stop (right outside the door!). Plus this new bus company isn't popular like Consettur so the lines aren't as long (yet). I also liked having all day tea and hot water, as well as the breakfast spread.

Although it was convenient to the bus stop, I was on the 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans) so very close to the street and sounds. I could hear when the buses started up in the morning, and one night there was a group of young men talking loudly from about 1:30-4am while sitting on the bench near the Machu Picchu Pueblo sign. You can hear the street noises pretty well, which generally doesn't matter because this is normally a quiet street. I would have asked for a high floor except that there is no elevator and I didn't want to have to carry my things up several flights.

It's cheap, but you also feel that. The rooms were a bit small. In fact it is mainly the town I totally dislike and that feeling drags this hotel stay also down. The rooms are basic which was in line with the price. Breakfast was good and early which was helpful due to our 6 o'clock entry in Machu Picchu. They also offer luggage storage so all in all it was ok, but nothing more than that.

Rooms are a bit small. It is quite a distance from the station to the hotel.

Good location with beautiful views, kind staff, tasty breakfast!

The property was dark and the room was very small - it was a good thing we didn’t need to be there much since we were out at Machu Picchu most of the time. One little incident happened - when I was standing outside the property a big can of cleaner fell from the top story and landed right next to me - if I had been under it, it could have caused significant damage. Putting up a little barrier maybe could prevent this from happening! Overall a decent and minimalistic base for exploring Machu Picchu.
