I suggest you this location for staying at the sea coast at Ostia but also for staying if you wanna see some Rone, cause

To stay here after the intense days in Rome was a best idea ever! At the My Room Roma one may find anything wanted in Ostia or, saying even more generally, around the Roma area. It’s really close to the train and bus station, and to the nice free beach. The apartment is perfectly clean, equipped with a nice private bathroom for every room, all furniture and a bed linings, towels, are pretty new. They also provide you with a breakfast (which is better than in some Roma’s more expensive hotels), and all things like coffee, tea, cookies, juice, etc are available during the day in the shared kitchen. You may also cook yourself or use the fridge. The garden which you may share with others is beautiful as well. Internet is working perfectly too. Fabio, who is the manager here, is a very kind person who will meet you with his best advice about restaurants, beaches, routs to airport, and even share his own discounts for supermarkets. We even exchanged hugs before I left, he is like an Italian uncle, you’re never had. Daniele, the owner is also very committed to the property, and gives a response when some questions asked. My general advice is if you are going to Rome for sightseeing, you might consider Ostia Lido, and particularly, My Room Roma as a base, cause it is really close and cheap to get there (and to the airport too). If you’re going to Rome for business get some day offs, and go there to My Room Roma. I will definitely come back here!

I really sugest this place for leisure vacation

A wonderful oasis on the Roman seaside - excellent location - 30 min bus ride from Fiumicino airport, 2 min walk from Lido bus and train station, many restaurants, bars, shops, etc. near. Beach 5 min walk (and even visible from my room window), garden where you can enjoy breakfast (with great coffe) and/or relax in the evening with a glass of wine, clean and tidy rooms. And - most importantly - very friendly and responsive staff! Fabio will help you solve any household problems if they arise and will definitely recommend the best place to have dinner, sunbathe and otherwise spend time in Ostia and Rome.

It could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom however the property in general was clean kitchen areas breakfast was simple but nice the noise from nightclub was a bit but the area is great very close to the beach the biggest drawcard is the outdoor area and management very nice

I did not actually stay at My Room Roma. I was directed to another place down the street as she overbooked. It was fine & had 2 doors opening onto a little balcony with table & chairs, so it was nice to catch a breeze there.

Breakfast was supposed to be included, but was not included at the property they sent me to. Saturday night was not quiet with people talking & singing late at establishment very nearby.

I loved that the location was so close to the train station and the city centre. It’s right next to a park which is lovely, and you get to watch the sun set in the garden. It’s beautiful.

The walls were a bit thin, I could hear a lot from the rooms beside me. Occasionally I would wake up to people talking or shuffling around in the room opposite me. Overall, it was fine, earplugs helped!

Exceptional

Fabio was a terrific host, gave us excellent tips as to where to eat and was very hospitable. The location is fantastic, near the park, short distance to the station and many great shops and of course the beaches. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to stay here as it is a great value, cozy, with the ability to store food and drinks and prepare food if one doesn’t want to always eat out. I certainly would come back again.

Check in by phone. Than you get a entrance code and have to wait till the owner comes. Breakfast is bad. You have to check the fridge in the morning and you have 1 cup of coffee (nespresso).

Les lits en 60 sont des lits d'appoint avec un plaid en guise de couverture. Les équipements sont d'une saleté inadmissible et à peine nettoyés après plainte auprès du propriétaire (le moisi dans la douche n'a pas été nettoyé) sans parler des murs, de la poubelle ou de la crédence. Le petit déjeuner se compose de brioches et de biscottes industrielles, de biscuits secs et d'une dose de café dans une machine qui n'a jamais connu de détartrage tout comme la bouilloire. L'insonorisation est à revoir entièrement tout comme la promiscuité. Les taxes de séjour sont à payer séparément et uniquement en liquide.

My Room Roma замечательное место для проживания. Гостеприимный, внимательный и любезный хозяин. Комфортный и чистый номер. Чистые полотенца и белье. Замечательный сад на территории. Мощный Wi-Fi. Везде хорошее освещение. Безопасно. Просторная кухня с плитой, кофе машиной и двумя холодильниками. Вкусные завтраки. До пляжа 300 метров. Рядом центр Лидо ди Остии, вокзал, автобусная станция. Рядом супермаркеты, магазины, кафе, рестораны, пицца, прачечная. 30 минут на электричке до Рима. 30 минут на автобусе до аэропорта Фьюмичино. Очень замечательное место! Всем рекомендую.

Logement près de tous les commerces, et facile d'accès au centre de Ostia, de Roma et de FCO airport

Chambre : spacieuse avec douche et WC séparés. Le petit déjeuner simple mais avec tout ce qu'il faut. L'emplacement: adéquat, près de la gare pour ce rendre en train à Rome et aussi de la station de bus pour aller à l'aéroport de FCO. (Lido Ostia Centro Metromare stazione). Le personnel d'accueil ainsi que le proprio sont très sympas.

Un peu le bruit de la rue, si on laisse les fenêtres ouvertes, mais en été il le faut !
