Bonsai Villa Hoi An

The location of this hotel was superb. Easy walking distance to the old town but so quiet and enough away from the bustle. Pool was lovely and the food was good. There is a great coffee shop just around the corner too.

The wi-fi wasn't great and there was a pipe next to the toilet that had water coming out of it from who-knows-where and there was some mould in the grout.

We had the best time staying at Bonsai Villa! The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable! Good showers too. The pool is a very welcome addition in the heat and the included breakfast was excellent! But the biggest highlight of our stay was the way Autumn and her family took care of us and made us feel welcome. They were such lovely hosts and so kind to our two children, even bringing them an ice cream in the pool one day! We definitely hope to return to Bonsai Villa one day ❤️

Gorgeous setting and well maintained. We had the pool to ourselves on a couple of occasions in the afternoon which felt luxurious. The room was clean and the bed was the best we’ve had the whole trip. We received a warm and friendly welcome with lots of helpful information provided. Few bars and shops a short walk away and then a 10-15 min walk over the bridge into the market/old town.

Background: We are two travellers in our 60's. As such we tend to like nicer places - bit more modern like a Marriot etc. This is a family run hotel in a great location (right in the center) while being quiet. Good shower!

There's nothing actually wrong with it. We just felt a little "ick" factor as we are used to nicer places. Rooms are very small, and price is very cheap!
