Pond Cottage is a very well thought-out conversion from a farm outbuilding and I imagine the other cottages on site are equally comfortable and convenient. The friendly and contented atmosphere amongst our fellow guests was, I believe, the result of thoughtfulness and hard work on the part of Annabelle, our host. The free-range hens were also markedly well-contented!

Two really trivial niggles - the guest handbook has the wrong wi-fi details (the correct version is on a sticker fixed to the internal sun-room door), and a paring knife would be useful in the kitchen as it's awkward chopping cucumber with a bread knife!

The gorgeous cottage was so lovely & very welcoming. Wonderful & peaceful countryside. It was like a home from home. We would love to come back again! Many thanks to lovely Annabelle.

Five of us, plus dog, stayed here for three days when attending a family wedding in the area. We absolutely loved our time in Pond Cottage. It was easy to find, had plenty of parking, was clean, comfortable and contained all we needed. The hosts, Annabelle and Rollo, gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful when we had questions to ask. The living room was larger than we had expected from the pictures we had looked at before booking. Everything was perfect and we would all recommend without hesitation. Thank you so much!

Absolutely nothing!

The hand rail in the shower; the pub down the road; beds were comfy.

Everything was a bit 'haphazard. ' It sort of felt as if the owners, who were very pleasant, were struggling to maintain the properties .... . The grass, for example, had been cut prior to our arrival, but the cuttings were left lying on the grass. We were constantly walking the grass in and having to sweep it up. It felt like a job half done. The conservatory was lovely but many of the double glazing panels had failed and were misted up. It didn't look great. The water is hard, and the scale in the shower and kettle reflected this .... .Also our shower, which was an electric one, 'ran out off water 3 times during our stay. The pitch changed in the motor and the water stopped. Once I turned the heat up in the shower and the water stopped which isn't great when you're all soapy.
