A bit noisy at night, with people in the streets

Cafe food was not included . But good and well presented.
Location was excellent for old quarter and walking to main squares and port , the castle and even the beach . Good for trains and buses to outer areas of Malaga central .. we came from Malaga airport and continued on along the coast towards Nerja.
Bathroom toilet seat seized - top and bottom seats would not separate easily with two hands . Bathroom door stuck on sliding and squeaked badly
Shower spray had no hook to hang it up
Bedside table and table in room tired and in need of renovation/ scratches and much wear .
No deal on price so feel we paid enough . Breakfast not included.

Everything was perfect! Place in oldtown near very beautiful church, near all you need: restaurants, shops... ~15min walking from Alameda train station. Place at night is very calm. Beds and pillows was very comfortable. Cleaning everyday. Apartment was spacious and bathroom too. Personal was very friendly. If I would come back I would choose it again. Thank you very much!
All that was missing was a kettle with coffee. When you go on excursions at 6-8 am, no one around is working yet. Or there could be a coffee machine at the reception. It would be amazing.

Cute decor, comfy beds,
great cafe and good location. Although weekends might be noisy as there was a lot of clubs nearby that only opened on our third night on Thursday.
Definitely more of a hostel than hotel. Our Bedroom for 4 people and bathroom was very basic. The sliding door on the bathroom was not very private. Very little space to unpack to and no plugs for charging devices. No lift. But it did the job.

Hostel had a good ambience. Very much liked the location to bars, restaurants, museum and shops. Loved breakfast in the cafe.
For an older traveller, not having a lift wasn't ideal. We were going from Malaga on a longer trip to a coastal resort afterwards so we had a lot of luggage to carry up two flights of stairs. For a shorter trip with a small case - it wouldn't have been an issue.

Close to everything
There is a lot of noise from te street (partying people). It is like there are next to your bed the whole night… everyday.
Also a lot of noise from the other rooms as well.
Bathroom not clean. Showerdoor could not close properly.

Location was excellent
Shared bathroom facilities - we expected an en suite bathroom for the money we paid. Plus the shared facilities had 3 showers but only separated from other guests by shower curtains. Mixing male and female guests in this way was potentially awkward. The room did have a fan but really needed aircon. There were no drinks making facilities in the room. The lock on the room was not easy to work and was very flimsy. Not the fault of the property - but the other guests were very noisy and twice tried to open the door to our room.

Location
Room too hot without AC
Far too much noise from the outside (no sleep all night)
Shared bathroom with no door in shower
Parking was supposed to be partly paid by the hotel and confirmed by the receptionist but in the morning no tickets left « sorry » so i had to may 28€ for parking !!!

Close to course I was doing
WiFi worked poorly in room, had to go downstairs to send email. Shower fittings not compatible so couldn't use properly. Very noisy every night as club close and crowds outside hotel from 12 onwards and club open untill 5am

Location was good
The room needs AC, fan was not enough.
We needed to open the windows.
There is a club across the building, extremely noisy, we couldn’t sleep until morning.

Very clean
Shared bathroom for that price, it is far too expensive, even accepting those conditions the price should be lower.

Everything ☺️ The location can’t be better, the rooms are cozy and cute, staff- amazing, the cafe offers great options for breakfast, and lovely roof terrace as well <3
I really can’t say anything negative about this place-just a few notes for those who might not be sure what to expect.
Next to the hotel, there’s a venue, and on one of the nights I stayed, there were quite a few people gathered outside. It was just the usual sounds of people chatting, no loud music or anything disruptive. I closed the window and it was fine. And honestly, if you’re in the mood for a bit of nightlife, having a place like that literally next door is actually pretty convenient, isn’t it?
The hotel is located in the heart of the historic centre on a romantic little street, right across from one of the most stunning churches I’ve ever seen. From the outside, it looks fairly simple, but step inside and it’s absolutely breathtaking. The street itself isn’t the most quiet, after all, it’s the historic centre, but that’s part of its charm. If you are looking for a solitude place, you might need to consider something out of the historic centre. One evening, a man was playing guitar and singing Spanish songs just under my window in the stairs of the church. It honestly felt like I was in a movie. Bizarre, in the best way.
If you’re after a fancy, luxury hotel, this might not be your perfect fit. But if you’re looking to experience the true Spanish vibe in a cozy, friendly, and romantic atmosphere, this is a wonderful and budget-friendly choice. I’d definitely love to come back.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful.
The breakfast is very good and at a fair price.
The location is exactly in the city center, so ideal for a short stay. You can leave the luggage at the reception when you arrive.
On my floor there were 2 bathrooms and 3 rooms, so plenty privacy.
Not all the rooms had air conditioning ONLY A FAN. When I complained at the reception they told me it was in the room description and i probably didn’t pay attention as i put the filter for hotels with AC. During the night got extremely hot, being in the center (close to a night club) it was extremely loud (drunk tourists)! Also no nets at the balcony to protect from insects - considering there was no AC. I personally spent 1 hour researching the little insects on the bed - all were flying or jumping - so no bed bugs - all came on the window because of the light! The bed linen was white and very clean.

Location. Good value. Excellent staff. Cafe excellent too.
Shower didn’t drain to start with and flooded bathroom and the shower head kept falling off in Tiramisu room but they did fix it straight away!

Such a lovely place. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would choose Dulces Dreams again. Location was perfect and close to pretty much most places. We also had a lovely balcony with nice view. The cafe downstairs with a terrace made our breakfast place choice very easy.
The only negative part was the shower, the water was leaking through the doors, so the whole floor was flooded

Fantastic location, staff very helpful, very good value for money. Comfy beds.
There is city noise outside but is absolutely to be expected from central Malaga! The hotel is itself very comfy and has good double glazing.

Large room. Very clean. Good location. Friendly, busy staff in the café. Good coffee. Lovely rooftop terrace.
The room wasn’t ready on time. The staff were lovely and apologetic but I was only in Málaga for 48 hours so didn’t want to waste time.
The wi-Fi didn’t work well in the room - kept cutting out.
It seems that the church steps opposite is where lots of teenagers hang out during the early hours. I was woken many times by them talking until they went home about 5am. They weren’t particularly loud - more the windows/doors kept out no noise. I know Málaga quite well and know there are very few places open at night in the immediate vicinity of Dulces Dreams, which is why I thought it would be a bit quieter than some places I’d stayed. I expected some noise at night but didn’t expect an impromptu youth club. As a heavy sleeper, I would recommend ear plugs.

Lovely location.
Make sure to ask which car park is best to use as they only have discounts for some.

The place itself was OK..location etc is why we chosed it.
For our last night we wanted something cozy..modern and stylish..unfortunately we did not receive the room, the category we booked and paid for 🤗
The way the situation was handled was poor.
It was not our fault that the room we booked was not available..we absolutely outgrew the times of a shared bathroom though.. on top the streets were not accessible and we had to carry our backage all the way through the city center as well ☝️

NOTHING
This is not a hotel, its a hostel. Booking .com should not advertise or sell this property as a boutique hotel,
this is false advertising. A room without air con, and worse of all a shared bathroom on the landing might be ok
for students, but NOT for three pensioners like us, or indeed a husband and and wife. I dont blame the management
of the property, but I am very dissapointed with booking . com.
